  1. I love how both Coldplay and Thom Yorke have Bittersweet Symphony on their posters...:nice:
  2. Enjoy the honeymoon... it won't last long...
  3. ^Nice avi. :P Hee. :nice:
  4. February. It's cold and barren. Christmas is a month past, spring is still a month away, and there's no major holiday or much of anything happening. It's far enough into the winter so that the winter blues have really truly set in by that point. It's supposed to be the shortest month, but it always feels like the longest... On a more upbeat note, can't wait for July.
  5. Because only one person voted for it. And that in a nutshell is why I encourage people to write blurbs about favorite albums.
  6. Somehow I think it's value would rapidly decline the moment Ian wasn't involved.

But if all the good people walk away until it gets better, then our own little insane clown posse will be left to run amok without anything to balance it out.:(
  8. I'd say, based on what little I've found, that the people all over the place who say not to judge Smith before you've seen "party animals" are right. He's a lot more interesting and animated in that role than his other screen appearances from what I can see... [ame=http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=c07QDwStVQU]YouTube - A cute clip of Matt Smith - the new Doctor Who[/ame] [ame=http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn6WJsTzro8]YouTube - Matt Smith in Party Animals[/ame] I think I've figured out what bugs me about it so much. He has such great prominent cheekbones that having anything in front of them throws his whole face off and makes him look kind of lopsided. I like that haircut on some other people, just not him. Heh... such a silly thing to obsess about.
  9. Here's an idea, why don't you pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow.
  10. A Scanner Darkly 7.5/10 Interesting, amazing, messed up, made my head hurt. Mostly messed up though.
  11. Donna Noble in 90 seconds :laugh3:
  12. ^:laugh3: Unfortunately, no. (What that clown thinks has had the power to destroy the world.)
  13. :laugh3:: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/cult/a140205/allen-favourite-for-who-assistant.html And here we go again.  I like Lily for some strange reason but I doubt she's an actress. Personally I hope they get someone older like in her mid to late 30s or early 40s. There would be a lot of fun ways to play around with the dynamics that way.
  14. ^Oh, don't believe the tabloids' spin on it, from what I've seen the reaction has been far more positive than negative. It only took the macro community about 24 hours to go from hating him to adoring him. :freak:  There's a whole nother year for the decision to sink in before he's on screen. He may be too young, but that is what's going to make it interesting too. And if the worst anyone is complaining about is age, hair (easily fixable) and the crappy quality of the production stills (which were shot in front of a blank background without telling the photographer what they were for) then I'm thinking he got off remarkably easy. I've never in all my years of fandom seen a group of geeks get quite as emotionally attached to an actor (Shatner included) as many have to Tennant. It's kind of inevitable that some of them would lash out no matter who was the successor that's just human nature, and when the tabloids go looking for quotes on messageboards, of course they're going to pick the particularly strong ones.
  15. Eh... who cares what the insane clown thinks anyway. :snore: :p
  16. Back to school on Tuesday. It was a 3 week and a bit holiday, so I'm bored and ready to go back now. But at the same time I'm really scared I won't be able to keep up. I barely could last semester, and it's only going to get harder. :worried2: Forth into the unknown! :sweatdrop:
  17. Does that mean she weighs the same as a duck?
  18. That didn't take long. :P;)

4500 !   After so long, I'm almost to the big 5000. :nice:
  20. ^^Yeah, The Escapist was sort of a prime bit of username real estate... wonder how long it will be before someone else takes it... that will be confusing.
  21. Yep, the mayo went everywhere and the chicken was soggy... not fun.
  22. I once forgot to drain the pasta when making pasta salad. :uhoh:
  23. I think that was Austin City Limits. Guy was talking about how they love both the studio and the road equally when Chris threw that in.
  24. ^Apparently, but Moffett has done quite a few different interviews where he said he'd like to go with an older Doctor more like what he grew up with. I think it might have started saying it when he was at Comic Con last summer. Heh... that's the same reaction I had the first time I saw Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) in street clothes. Guess it's just an actor thing. *shrug*. Actually, from what I'm finding, they're actually part of the same crowd it looks like- they were in at least one play together.
