Will's so cute. Vic and I were discussing how underrated he is. He's so handsome and smart and articulate and brings so much to the band. And I just love his speaking voice... it's very pleasant. Will just rocks.

You know... even though I tend to be very sick-minded, I totally thought she was being violent; as in "I'd beat him up if he ever did [insert ridiculously absurd deed here]!" I actually went back a page to see if someone had said something about "Chris better not be right about Coldplay splitting up!" and I still didn't get what she said until now. Eyem s0 dum.

If you hear him say that sentence in the interview, you can tell he's just exaggerating to put things in perspective. When you take speech onto paper, things get misconstrued and the contexxt of the staement gets all weirded up. And yeah, like alyssa said: if you're going to be a Coldplay fan you have to learn to take everything that the tabloids and Chris says with a grain of salt. Don't truly beleive it until you see it on the website or if it happens. :)

Wait, wait... um... they must be mistaken about the TV documentary. It's the documentary for the DVD obviously. I mean, if they were making a documentary for TV (Which they wouldn't do), we would've heard about it by now. The writer said the "TV documentary" part in passing, he was obviously misinformed (Wouldn't be the first time). And 'an insider' is always a made up person that tabloids fabricate to make their stories sound legitamate. They take a grain of truth and throw bullshit on it it make it grow into something interesting. And of course he's too effing busy! He's currently doing this thing where you go around the world and play a bunch of your songs in a bunch of different places. I think it's called... touring? And it's pretty time-consuming from what I hear. Stupid tabloids. :rolleyes:

^ Actually... there's alot of truth in that statement. I don't think Chris would ever have the balls to make a solo album. That's not a bad thing either. The man worries so much and is so incrediably insecure, that if he ever broke away from his three best mates in the entire world and made an album, he'd probably go mad with the pressure and criticism and all the like. I just can't see Chris doing that. Yes, he is talented enough to do so, but like he's said before, he's just "one cog in a huge machine". He can't function properly without the rest of the band. He'll write the song, usually with Jonny, bring it to Guy and Will... Guy adds a bass and other misc. details and Will adds his part and tells Chris wether it's shit or not. It's been said that if Will doesn't like it, then the song never makes it (Except for Clocks). I don't think Chris could do it without his band. Which is exactly what he's been telling people.

Haha! Oh no, don't get me or anyone else wrong here. I have no doubt that spending almost 365 days with the same three people would seem a bit like a odd marriage in any band, not just Coldplay, but, in my mind, and I think everyone elses', we're just continually amazed and heartened by the tight bond that Chris and Jonny share. I follow many other bands very closely and I have never seen a relationship quite like Chris and Jonny's, in the music world or otherwise. It's simply appealing. I have no doubt that they love their wives/girlfriends very much and are in no way sexually invovled with one another, it's just simple fun. But thanks for being nice about it. Sometimes we get the odd troller who totally get out of hand with it. :)

I'm bumping this thread up with an observation. I was watching the VH1 Storytellers for the first time after a long time, and Jonny was telling the story behind "The Scientist". Anyone else notice Chris and Jonny staring intensely at each other during the whole thing? As my friend who was watching it with me so eloquently put it: "They're undressing eachother with their eyes." :laugh3: It really was quite intense though. And after Jonny was done, Chris hesitated and just stared at Jonny almost concernedly before starting the song. Also, it seems that The Scientist was written by both Chris and Jonny. :) I don't know... I felt like I was being told a romantic story by one of my friends. That may be a bit extreme, but it's just what I observed. :D

That reminds me... I wonder if we'll actually know when Guy's baby is born, or if they'll just hide it and say "Baby? What baby? I have no idea what your talking about!" :rolleyes: ETA: 2,000 POSTS FOR ME! :D
