My wonderful older sister. She was very skeptical about the appeal of a Coldplay show until she saw them at the September Atlanta show. NOw she's willing to go to Orlando to see them. :D

Here, here. It's all four of them owrking together to create the songs they do. What would Yellow be like with out that jangly, de-tuned guitar? Or White Shadows with out the sycompated bass? Or Fix You without the crashing drums? And If you don't get front row in presale/general sale, be prepared to cough up several hundred dollars for them. They're originally 65 dollars on average, but after they're all swallowed up, the prices get ridiculously inflated because they're in such high demand. I lost out in the presale, so I had to bid at the official auctions on Ticketmaster. I got 2 5th row seats to the orlando show in March for under 400 dollars. Amazing since the same seats are going for 915 dollars a piece on some ticket scapler web sites. Plus, a portion of that money went to charity. :) All those auctions are closed though so your only hope is E-Bay or a scalper site.

Well actually I bumped into them on Spring Street in Atlanta and then we went to the Black Horse for some beers and now I have all their cell phone numbers and call them up on a daily basis. Chris is getting his hair cut as we speak. He would say 'hi', but he's too petrified to speak right now. But that's not anything special. And then I woke up. ...*Cough* >.> And by the way, I love that song. :D

I don't know why, but I really don't see them touring 15-20 years from now. I don't know... I know they're an incrediably tight group and they make brilliant music together and work awesomely well together, I'm not doubting that, but I just can't see them still doing what they do for that long. I don't know... maybe it's just because I don't have much foresight anyways. It's quite a depressing thought though. :cry:

I'm in the Jonnyzone. :D As you can see, I edited my signature to say so. I know! He cracks up about everything. He's so unabashedly sweet. I once read an article about the band. The writer met them and he remarked on the fact that Jonny seems to posess no semblance of an ego. I can beleive it. :D Like in the DVD when he's stopped by that venue official and he's like "I'll show you a pick-tah" (That's how he says it I swear) and he holds up his hands like a little kid. :heart: :blush:

Jonny completly stole the show. My mom was watching it with me and she's not really big into music or Coldplay, and she was like: :o when Jonny rocked out. And I heard some people talking about it at school... "Did you see Coldplay's performance? I never even knew they had such an awesome guitarist!" "Yeah... he freaking rocked didn't he?" All my friends were talking about it too. One of them almost ripped my face off when I walked into the school that next morning. She was all like OMGYOU'REGOINGTOSEETHATLIVEFROMFIFTHROWIHATEYOU!! Ooooh, Jonny. God, I love this man. :smug:
