totally agree with you. you can definitely see that director robert rodriguez is friends with quentin tarantino (who, by the way, directed the segment with benicio & clive owen in the car.... the most surreal moment)

following 9/10 the first movie by christopher nolan (director of memento, insomnia & batman begins) shot in black and white, and only about 70 minutes long!!and apparently mr nolan already liked non chronological order storytelling before memento...

it's a close race between keanu and nicolas cage at his worst (aka city of angels, cause he sometimes acts quite well, like in 'adaptation'). to compare keanu with a tree would be a compliment, since trees are beautiful and full of LIFE. i'd say wooden like an old table :P
