The Coldplaying Review - Check first post
The main thing I want to happen with this little 'project' is to build up a large archive of proffesional-type reviews doen by Coldplayers. That would be awesome.

Would you like to be a reviewer?

I was gonna PM you to ask about it Julia. Haha. We need more people to put their name down and support this.

Thanks Nik, that is actually a very good idea. I'm gonna add any ideas straight to the first post. Everybody comment on the ideas too.

Rules Post a review when you feel like it, you do not have to sign up. Review any album, as long as it is in proper English. No 'lol's or 'boi's. Make all the ratings ?.?/10 otherwise I will just adjust them and make them like that. Put The Coldplaying Review in the thread title. Include a picture of the album front cover with your review. A Song is a City - Eskimo Joe (7.5) [sam] A Weekend in the City - Bloc Party (7.5) [dajrekshn] Jarvis - Jarvis Cocker (8.2) [Ondes Martenot] Pocket Symphony - Air (8.0) [dajrekshn] Sam's Town - The Killers (7.0) [sniggirb] The Decline of British Seapower - British Seapower (9.8) [Ondes Martenot] U218 - U2 (?) [sniggirb] Yours to Keep - Albert Hammond Junior (8.0) [winnie]

Favourite decade in music?
Same as Nik but put 50's between rest and 80's.

Radiohead
This is probably the song that would be most recognisable to you, the most 'britpop' Radiohead song IMO: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ck-lgSgieyg

Radiohead
It's best to start with The Bends, because that is their most 'accessible' album. And it will be most like bands you are used to listening to.

Happy Birthday Sam!! :)
Thanks a lot Rick. Now I can see MA movies in the cinema without a parent! I just got back from an 'all you can eat' buffet at Sizzler and now I'm completely stuffed. It's hard to think that I was here celebrating my last birthday as well. 15 really seems the age of 'growing'. I think by my next birthday I will be a completely different person, whether that's good or bad I wouldn't have a clue.

Well that was a blast from the past.

Flaming Lips
I just had to bump this to say I finally got 'The Soft Bulletin' today. I think it may become one of my new favourites. I started disliking 'At War with the Mystics' very easily before and now I don't really like it. But I love this album.

Radiohead
Idioteque is way better in the studio version!

Radiohead
I have never seen the attraction of Amnesiac as much as everyone else seems to, which makes me sad. My order would be: OKC > Kid A > The Bends > HTTT > Pablo Honey > Amnesiac.

Kings of Leon
I think they are supporting Eric Clapton in Brisbane next year. If so, I'll see them then. Although I don't really know that much about them, so I'll have to check them out before then.
