  1. Yeah, they're everywhere. that's why i don't listen to the radio, watch t.v, etc. That's also what i did after AROBTTH got really popular and 'clocks' and ' the scientist' were everywhere. Even Coldplay got sick of themselves!
  2. either warning sign or amsterdam. everything's not lost also has a special place in my heart.
  3. Does anyone know why the Verve disbanded?
  4. really, i thought dido was so good..but then again that is just an opinion
  5. yep, it was status quo's 'rocking all over the world'
  6. go to the live 8 website...you will be able to find it there
  7. his children will be so beautiful if they look like him
  8. coldplay lover, who are you talking to?
  9. Filter is catching up...the people in this forum knew our guy was the handsomest member for at least a good three years!
  10. i would love for them to play any b-sides AND a cover in new york.
  11. camille, how does this 'mutual friend' know guy?
  12. if you are a member of coldplay.com, they sent this to members via email (back in december, of course).
  13. They were amazing...but i'm afraid for Chris's voice. I hope he doesn't lose that beautiful voice. It seems a bit strained already from touring. I know in the past, he lost his voice while on tour. Chris, take care of your voice!
  14. Reilly, i wasn't comparing Coldplay to Pink Floyd and The Who. That would be like comparing apples and oranges. Bad wording of the sentence. my mistake. BUT, if you did have to compare one of the newer bands with the likes of Pink Floyd, it would definitely be Coldplay. (When i say this, i don't mean the music, but the talent)
  15. So, i finally saw their set...i can breathe now. Their performance proved why i love them. It's so obvious that they have so much respect for Richard Ashcroft...they played Bittersweet Symphony as if it were their own. they loved playing that song and sharing the stage with Richard. Did anyone notice how Guy was singing along and playing so passionately? Usually, when a band gets huge, they feel that no other band is like them. They get too cocky, but not with coldplay. at least, not yet and hopefully never.
  16. Sorry ladies...if you thought it was Guy's hand that apparently had no wedding ring, it was actually jonny's hand, not guy in fix you.
  17. I listen to the whole album...when it's done the first time, i listen to the whole album again. i listen to it at least once a day. seriously, i need to move on with my life. i used to have a fairly active social life..i can't say that now.
  18. AROBTTH...just based on my experience..before this album, i didn't really listen to coldplay except yellow and trouble. but i've heard so much about coldplay that i was curious.
  19. my god, Guy looks like joe fiennes in the solo shot! Two of the most beautiful British men...well, actually Guy's scottish, right?
  20. if you go to the coldplay photos part, you should be able to find it
  21. the music legends like Pink Floyd, The Who, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, etc were by far the best performances. It shows how much more talented they are compared to the bands now, except coldplay of course. I also liked Bono's short rendition of Unchained Melody..it's a cheesy song, but he sang it beautifully.
  22. Haha, this forum is the tabloids/paparazzi/stalkarazzi...I love it! We know and/or notice something about them so much that the guys should worry about us, not the tabloids. i didn't notice that about Guy, but then again i only saw one performance.
  23. Choldplayer, can i be your best friend? Haha, i'm just joking of course. You are soooo lucky. If you get a chance to speak to them, tell them to play Amsterdam at Madison Square Garden in New York. Please, i love that song and from what i've heard, that song is not on the set. thanks
  24. I completely agree with you, Pai. Truly hideous.
  25. How ridiculous is this....i saw all of U2, Paul McCartney, The Who, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, Travis, Green Day, The Cure, REM, Dido, Bon Jovi, Destiny's Child etc...yet i managed to miss Coldplay twice. TWICE! I am so mad at myself. i only saw their performance of 'In my place' on abc and of course abc didn't show the rest and according to this forum, mtv and vh1 showed clips, not full performances. I'm proud to be an American, but why do we have to be stupid sometimes (when i say we, i mean mtv and vh1). Full performances of fucking black eyed peas and clips of coldplay? Mtv and Vh1 are official the worst stations. On a side note, how amazing were Pink Floyd...i was floored..they still sound so good...no wonder they are living legends.
