  1. I think these threads are less pointless than the stupid word association one, at least.
  2. Aw crap. This is poopy. Yeah, anyone can give anyone rep. With my gold star I weild power, I can give someone with no rep like 12 blocks. It's hysterical. That's why you're in the orange. LMFAO!!!
  3. Yessuh! He ain't too shabby now, of course! Just too old for me to feel comfortable saying "MMMM" about... LMFAO!!! You know what's scary? The Coldplay guys are starting to get "up there". Ok, so they're going to be in their 30s probably by their next tour. But I don't know what I'm going to do when they get into their 40s! (then again, I'll be in my 30s, so maybe it won't be that bad?)

I've always felt a bit more mature for my age, or at least I've always felt older than what I am. I can have very adult conversations with people years and years older than me. At concerts I'll often strike up conversations with people who are 40, or even 50, and I feel like I'm talking to a friend. My mom tells me it's because I share a lot of interests with people who may be in their 20s or 30s. I'm not boy crazy or let superficial things dictate my life. I think that makes me mature. On the other hand, I can be the most wildly immature person with people who I've known for a long time. Like, I can act like a complete 4 year old. Sometimes I'll laugh if someone says "POOPIEZ!". That's hysterical to me. It's never good to always be "mature". But it's also not good to be overly "immature". A nice balance is good. :nice: And I didn't know you were 14, you act much older. Therefore, I relate to you.
  5. ^LOL! I think I know why.... :sneaky: After ranting about my love for U2 in the "overrated" thread, I'm in a total U2/Bono mood. Now, I don't find Bono er..... "sexually" attractive nowadays (he's more of an idol to me, almost a father figure), well, he was damn hot in the early 90s/late 80s. Right. Done. Now, don't be hatin', yo!
  6. LMFAO! My brother did that (he's more obsessive about the show than I, I just love watching it, but I don't go on the message boards or anything, you know?). I think he did like... 12 episodes. :stunned: Just tell your dad you're looking for clues LOL!
  7. LMFAO! Nice one, Steph!!!! I have the first season, but I think it's lost in my brother's room somewhere. :uhoh:
  8. I saw it, but I remember almost nothing from it (other than a naked ass.... LMFAO!). Hmmm. Care to share what you mean? ;)
  9. I hate this getting bumped to the second page. I'm blasting my recording of the October 4th Boston show that I was right on the rail for. It's so weird singing along with this taping, because I know that I'm singing along with myself... Since I was singing at the show. LMFAO!
  10. lmfao, I read a funny quote about MySpace the other day. Someone said that it's like collecting baseball cards online, just instead of baseball players they're "friends" LMFAO! I don't know who would argue with me about this... But Fall Out Boy is INCREDIBLY overrated. *shakes head*
  11. Do it, I need some Chris to detox from the Jake overdose....:stunned:
  12. lmfao you know, if I were them I think I'd be stuck up. I expected them to be. I like being proved wrong. ;) LMFAO! Defending my hubby. I wish.................. :uhoh:
  13. oh my fucking god.
  14. Don't ever listen to what other people say. They usually don't know what they're talking about. LMFAO! I stood in front of him for about 20 minutes outside the Boston Garden, I watched him interact with the fans. He asked everyone their names, asked them where they were from, told them to have a great time, took pictures, hugged on demand. It was truly amazing, definately not what I expected from one of the world's hugest rock stars. In December I was waiting outside the Garden again, hoping to meet them again, but they came late and the cars were just driving by. Bono made the driver slow down and he yelled out at us (but really yelled right in my ear since he stuck his head out next to mine) that they were so sorry, but they had to do soundcheck to give us a great show. :nice: The guys in U2 are sweet hearts, and anyone who goes by something they read in the paper to judge them is quite mistaken!!!! Phew *wipes brow* Sorry, defending my guys is a hobby of mine. LOL!!!
  15. He really doesn't, I don't know where people get off thinking he does.... I have never ever read him be arrogant, and once you meet him he's probably the most humble and kind and gentle man you could ever imagine. A lot of things he says in jest (particularly in the early 90s during ZooTV, when he was "playing the part" of a "rock star"). He's actually very self depricating. It's kind of funny. It's not fair to call them overrated unless you have sat and listened to all their albums. Believe me, I used to think they were. Until I saw them four times in concert....... :stunned: ANYWAYS.
  16. Here here!!!!
  17. Hey, that picture's underrated!
  18. lmfao, oh eye laff. *checks watch* I think that's a record. You see, I've been counting the minutes that it took for U2 to be named in this thread. What's overrated? Saying U2's overrated. :snore: Oh vell.
  19. Yes. Jonny beats them. You guys sure do have nice taste in men.... :wink3:
  20. This indecisions buggin' me! /end Clash moment Stay Selleck! *starts campaign* lolz
  21. I'm not dumb..... I love both Stipe and Bono. But I love Bono more, because I know more about him. And he's my hero. And I respect everything he does (yes, including 'The Sweetest Thing', which I admit is a sappy load of crap, but that's what the guy's intended. Quite throwaway and popish, but that's what they were going for in the late 90's). I'm not huge enough of a REM fan to know as much about Stipe as I do about Bono. Maybe I'm just an obsessive fan, which I am. But I get a little prickly when people compare B-man to anybody, since no one compares to him to me. No one's done exactly the same things, no one ever will. Therefore, there's no one similiar to him. Therefore, direct comparisons are fruitless. *breathes* lmfao. And you guys...? I really think you've got to lighten up a little bit. Radiohead fans are so uptight I've noticed (don't say anything, I'm a fan as well!). Don't insult anybody with an opposing opinion (calling them childish, etc). Just state your opinion in a mature way and move on. ;)
  22. Education. Definately overrated :snore:
  23. Coldplaying will be boring without the Selleck. And not as sexy... :\
  24. It's just a bunch of random numbers, who really cares how many PMs we have????? Wow. I don't know. Just wow.
