I haven't eaten meat in so long that I don't even remember what it tastes like! :stunned: :lol: I remember the exact time when I went vegie. I was with my mom and brother at Longhorn Steakhouse and I had a burger. I was biting into it when I looked up and saw this big steerhead on the wall, looking at me. I lost my appetite after that, and from that moment I haven't touched meat. I'm not one of those crazy PETA activists about it (I think a lot of that stuff can push people away), but I do care a lot for animals. The abuse they go through before being killed just really bothers me. I understand that if you live in a poor country then you HAVE to eat whatever you can, then killing an animal for food is justified. But here in America, or other developed nations, we can all afford not to do this to animals.

I just made an animation from a video I took at my October concert. It's Edge walking right by me during Electric Co!! I love this video, it's the only one I took while the guy's were walking RIGHT in front of me. As you can tell, I was a bit excited as Edge came by and I forgot I was taping it! :lol: :lol: :lol: I put it in my sig! Ha, I'm still very proud of that rail spot I had... :smug:

I've been a vegetarian for almost 2 years now. It's incredibly easy for me to not eat meat, I just don't do it. It's much healthier, it keeps you away from fast food chains and forces you to eat good stuff. Luckily I have really great friends and they never tease me or pressure me to eat anything meat. If we have a party and order pizza, there'll always be one without meat for me. :D I have been slipping a little, I've had calamari a couple times at some nice restaurants I went to with my family. :confused: I mean, the appetizer was like 15 bucks for a dish of it and I didn't want to make my grandma (who was paying) feel bad. But if it weren't for that then I've been very good about not eating anything that was once breathing. :smug: I think what pushes a lot of people from vegetarianism isn't just the culture thing (like, here in America the addiction to fast food is a problem), but the lifestyle change it takes. You can't just eat pizza, or salads all the time if you're veg. It gets old fast and you start craving things. You've got to mix it up with different dishes. My grandma makes a mean vegetarian American Chop Suey for me once a week. It's excellent! You have to find healthy, vegetarian recipes. But if you just don't eat meat and eat a lot of crap, then being vegetarian isn't good for you. And that's my 2 cents :lol: Nice to meet fellow Coldplaying vegetarians!

I always go into a deep, dark mood for about a week after a concert. Well, usually... I know that after Coldplay I was actually ok for about a month then I realized how REALLY long it would be until I see them again (turns out, it wasn't that long, seeing them in 2 months!!!). But after my last U2 concert in December I probably cried for a few hours straight each day for a week, since I had (and still have) no idea when they'll ever be back. It's kind of pathetic, ah well :lol: :rolleyes:
