Yeah, she did. All these people care about is "the scoop".

Yep, I'm watching E! Entertainment, do you get that where you are? They're doing a big preshow, but the interviewers are shit. I hate Ryan Seacrest...

Of course I'm waiting for U2, I'm dyin' here! They're playing 'One' (with Mary J) and I'm almost positive they're playing 'Vertigo' as well, from the pictures I saw on Interference! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah *BEYOND EXCITED* C'mon U2, wiiiin! I hope that stupid jerk on E! doesn't interview Coldplay. I have a feeling the only people she'd talk to is Chris and (if she's going, I have no idea) Gwyn. She said "Now, I'm sure we should be talking about Coldplay's influences, their albums, blah blah. But what do we REALLY want to know? About Chris and Gwyn!" dfsjklaf;jkfj;jf;lk;oigwfnj;oi;goigofdo;fgjdsinjfo;idnoig BLEEPIN' HATE THAT STUPID DUMB BUTT FEMALE DOG AND SHE WAS MAKING FUN OF BONO TOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Alright, sorry. But... yes. I am excited and stressed out

    I'm so exciiiiiiitedddddddddddd *shriek*
  5. maiu, that's a GREAT article, very nice interview. :D Oh man, I don't think I could love Bono anymore at this point. I'm watching the Red Carpet pre-show and some lady came out talking about fitting celebrities for sunglasses, and she mentioned Bono (showed his pink shades on the screen, he was wearing pink shades when I "met" him! gah, ok as I was saying). So she said what type they are, blah blah, and then she mentioned how they're about 700-800 buck shades, but all the money goes to AIDS relief. I was eating at the time when she mentioned him and I dropped my fork onto the carpet then choked on my salad.... :( I hope U2 fucking crushes Mariah Carrey in the Best Album category. I hate that bitch... *done* EDIT: Oh, they just showed Gwen Stefani and her husband, the lead singer from Bush and Institute? I kind of laughed because I saw him twice in December opening for U2 but I had no clue who he was until my friend screamed "OMFG HE'S MARRIED TO GWEN STEFANI HE'S REALLY FAMOUS"  And like U2 isn't?
  6. Did you see any shows? Jeez, it was incredible though, wasn't it? It was so surreal to me (since I basically stalked them around Beantown for all three legs). The entire tour just owned my 2005. I miss it... (thus my nostalgia with the animation in my sig  )

Why's it so surprising that he's going with Gwyneth? I'm still holding out for 'Twisted Logic'. I swear I won't ever die happy if I never see that either preformed live or preformed on TV.
  8. Everyone ready to watch the Grammys tomorrow at 8? I am!!!!!! :D GO U2!!! I think Edge is performing with Bruce Springsteen in a New Orleans tribute (holy craaaap no matter how many times I've seen Bruce and U2 together, each time it happens I literally combust   ). They're playing something with Mary J. Blige, which has got to be 'One'. I kind of hope it's not (since we've all heard it sooo much), but hey I'm not complaining! So yes, I am very excited! All my favorite bands/singers are there tomorrow (well, my main favorites) and I couldn't be happier!!! But fuck, they just HAD to put a new episode of Lost and Project Runway on at the same time, didn't they?
  9. I didn't even look at the other choices, I just looked to make sure Achtung Baby was there and I voted. U2=best band Achtung=best album No contest for me  ;)
  10. Kick the fucker's ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whoo. that felt good just to TYPE, and it wasn't even my CD case!
  11. Since when would I have to stick by just one of them? It would make stalking their concert schedules a bit more difficult, though...
  12. If they don't play 'Twisted Logic' I'll pop a cork.
  13. I LOOOVE The Office, it's one of my favorite shows on TV! Last week's episode with the unions (men v. women) was hysterical   I've watched the British version a few times on BBC America, but I've got to say... some of the jokes were lost on me. And usually I take quite keenly to British humor. I was probably already biased towards the US version, though. Steve Carell is so damn funny, I miss him on the Daily Show though
  14. Wouldn't it pop if you sat on it? Or is that the thrill :wink3:
  15. tag: jonny's messy hair (kelli, my sn's not letting me on now, i'm going to go to bed now  )
  16. you like that one, doncha?
  17. tag: vintage picture
  18. tag: scruffy beard
  19. Tag: smile ok, hope it makes sense now, go for it!
  20. I COMPLETELY stole this idea from a U2 forum (http://forum.interference.com fyi). Hope I don't get in trouble for it, but it's a great game and I think you guys would have a lot of fun with it. Rules: I'll start the game by posting one random picture. I'll then tag ONE element of it (be it a physical element, a theme element, a group member element) and post a picture portraying that. Then the next person does the same! I'll make a couple posts demonstrating this point! It can really be anything, like *tag chris* or *tag messy hair* or *tag Seattle concert* Let's try and stay on subject here, though. Don't comment too much on a particular picture, because then it just confuses people, clogs the game, and kills it. If you're confused and want to see this in action, here's the recent tag thread on the U2 comm (thanks to the orginal person who made up this idea! :D ): http://forum.interference.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=153521&perpage=15&pagenumber=1 Alright, here goes:
  21. Nothing as bad as what people mentioned here already... My struggles seem trivial in comparison. Perhaps injuring my back badly in the 3rd grade was the worst thing. Had to go through MRIs and the whole shebang, no one knew what was wrong with me, if I broke my back or what. I couldn't walk for awhile, I had to go through a year and a half of physical therapy and see a psychiatrist. I missed 6 months of school. Almost got held back. Went through a law suit over it, had to explain to lawyers what happened 2 years after it happened. Needless to say, it sucked. Hm. Don't think anything's topped that yet...
  22. I was an asshole. Not much has changed :D
  23. The entire Joshua Tree album-U2. Every time I listen to this I think it's the best album ever made. (Yes, I'm listening to it right now and can't contain my love any longer! LMFAO) Song wise, One Tree Hill-U2. Download it. Now.
  24. I got all of U2's records from the 80s on vinyl for Christmas, and I've got to say Bono's voice sounds that much sexier than it does on my ipod. lmfao, I don't know why. And I thought that was impossible! Anyways, I think there's something "romantic" about vinyl. Maybe it's to do with the age of it (I absolutely love listening to my Beatles on the record player, I never listen to them on my ipod). I like the scratchyness, the rawness, the vintageness. ETC ETC. Yes. I am addicted to vinyl. :smug:
  25. David Mills: Wait, I thought all you did was kill innocent people. John Doe: Innocent? Is that supposed to be funny? An obese man, a disgusting man who could barely stand up; a man, who if you saw him on the street you'd point him out to your friends so that they could join you in mocking him; a man, who if you saw him while you were eating, you wouldn't be able to finish your meal. After him, I picked the lawyer and I know you both must have been secretly thanking me for that one. This is a man who dedicated his life to making money by lying with every breath that he could muster to keeping murderers and rapists on the streets! A woman! A woman, so ugly on the inside she couldn't bear to go on living if she couldn't be beautiful on the outside. A drug dealer, a drug dealing pederast, actually! And let's not forget the disease-spreading whore! Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face. But that's the point. We see a deadly sin on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. We tolerate it because it's common, it's trivial. We tolerate it morning, noon, and night. Well, not anymore. I'm setting the example. What I've done is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed forever.
