  1. Fast Cars-U2 *flamenco dances around room*
  2. '40'-U2 One Step Closer-U2 One I love-Coldplay One-U2 (berrywoman already said that one, though) Love Minus Zero/No Limit-Bob Dylan (and I don't even WANT to get into a discussion about whether 'zero' is a number like my math class did a week ago   ) One Tree Hill-U2 God Part II-U2 Two Hearts Beat As One-U2 11 O'Clock Tick Tock-U2 Two Shots Of Happy, One Shot of Sad-U2 6o Seconds In Kingdom Come-U2 4th of July-U2 Yes. I think that is absolutely every U2 song with a number in it. Don't even go there if I missed one. Now I need to go get myself a life, thank you very much.
  3. It's pretty cool how itunes is having the Lost episodes up for download!! My poor mom missed the entire middle portion of the first ep, so she finally got to see the whole first convo between Jack/Desmond off the computer. Pretty damn cool. This should save some money for when the Season 2 DVD comes out
  4. I'm so excited for this! 1) Love Cash! 2) LOVE Pheonix! 3) Looks amazing. It will probably do very well, considering how the Ray Charles biopic did last year. I'd love to see Joaquin Pheonix FINALLY get an Oscar (or just a nod) for SOMETHING.
  5. Just a joke, I'm sure  :P
  6. clocks-politik, definately go early. It's always a gamble, of course, because depending on when soundcheck is or WAS supposed to be, they might come out or not. They're always VERY gracious with their time, however, and there's a much higher chance of them coming out opposed to them NOT coming out. Even if they don't, they stop and give a wave. It's incredible that they are such HUGE stars and still go out and stand on the street and sign things for us and pose for pictures. I went to the Stones concert at Fenway this past summer and remember seeing a large limo arrive and drive past the fans. Granted, this was very likely NOT the Stones or anything, but still. They don't go out and do that for their fans, and sure people would fight that they are more "larger than life", but I don't know... I think it's more dangerous for Bono to go out and stand on the street corner with one security guard (taking into account his status in the political world) than Mick Jagger to just reach through a wire fence and sign my copy of Sticky Fingers... :dozey: Riiiight, I just went on a long fuckin' tangent.  This is what happens when I'm bored

didn't know about that song thanks....that what Tasmania used to be called :stunned: Wow, I'm slow. Yeah, it's a great song, and I never knew that about Tasmania! You learn something new in the U2 world everyday!  "New York"/U2 In New York freedom Looks like too many choices In New York I found a friend To drown out the other voices Voices on a cell phone Voices from home Voices through the hard sell Voices down a stairwell In New York Just got a place in New York In New York summers get hot Well into the hundreds You can't walk around the block Without a change of clothing Hot as a hairdryer in your face Hot as a handbag and a can of mace New York I just got a place in New York New York New York In New York you can forget Forget how to sit still Tell yourself you will stay in But it's down to Alphaville New York, New York, New York New York, New York, New York The Irish have been coming here for years Feel like they own the place They got the airport, city hall, concrete, asphalt They even got the police Irish, Italians, Jews and Hispanics Religious nuts, political fanatics in the stew Living happily not like me and you That's where I lost you New York New York, New York, New York New York, New York, New York New York In New York I lost it all To you and your vices Still I'm staying on to figure out My midlife crisis I hit an iceberg in my life But you know I'm still afloat You lose your balance, lose your wife In the queue for the lifeboat You gotta put the women and children first But you've got an unquenchable thirst for New York New York, New York New York, New York In the stillness of the evening When the sun has had its day I heard your voice whispering Come away now New York New, New York, New York
  8. Awww, a little late with my messages, I'm sorry atarisboy86. Hey, enjoy the concert! Good luck with getting tickets for Wednesday too, I'm sure you can find some. A lady who was number 10 (or something) in my GA line didn't even have tickets, got a number for GA then went out and found tickets that day. I saw her on the rail a few down from me, so obviously all went well for her ;) Well, it's late now, but if you get tickets for Wednesday then I'd head to the back entrance area (you can usually tell where it is by the large group of people holding albums standing around  ) from 3-5. I got there at 3:45 and Adam came out around 4, Edge 4:15 and Bono 4:30. Really REALLY amazing and worth it! Still talking about it  RA-D, do you have any Zoo TV bootlegs? I have nothing from then, and I've been looking everywhere. Really anything you have that isn't too much of a problem to upload would be great!
  9. It'd have to be large, for starters... And for some reason I'm envisioning everyone as little floating yellow heads... All with different expressions. :kid: :indianchief: :gossip: :gorgeous: :goofy: <that'd be me. I'm pretty good, actually. I was really sick all last week, but now I'm much better. I was just off to bed, actually. Night! :P
  10. ^yes, same! But people are polite here, if I say something totally off the walls (like, probably the entire lunch room analogy I did above) they'll be like "ahaha ok yes let's move on and change the subject gracefully" I did get a kick out of having a mental picture of a messageboard cafeteria. :uhoh: :rolleyes4:
  11. Wouldn't it be "WILLLUV!" :P I'm just kidding  Willuv looks much better. WILL do. oh ho ho. LMFAO!
  12. Hey... I'd read that book. A lot of forums I've wandered into remind me of my high school cafeteria, everybody sitting at seperate tables and saving seats for their own friends. The difference with this place is that if you take a chair from the table or sit there somebody's not going to call you the stupid bitch freshman. Where did I go with that analogy? I don't know. Sometimes I do feel like the n00b sitting at the empty table smiling to herself and laughing at her own jokes. And that's all I have to say about that. :inquisitive:
  13. Wow, this is great! It's funny, but I must have overlooked that thread, and the last time it was bumped was when I was at my U2 concert   Bumped it, because it deserves it.
  14. Alessa, Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooa that picture. Is so... big.... I LOVE IT! Nothing better than HUGE resolution pictures, especially of Guy. I was just staring at that for the past minute or so. :stunned: :wink3: Thaaaank you for that!
  15. Honestly now. All the other internet pages I'm on are fine, but this one's completely slow. Ooooooh. Could it be this page is evil!? Ok, ok, I'll stop. It's just strange, that's all! *I need to stop watching stupid horror shows!*
  16. OK. Sorry for all my double posts. My computer's a piece of shite.
  17. Double post. grrr. THIS REALLY IS THE PAGE OF THE BEAST, IT'S MESSING UP MY COMPUTER LMFAO!!! Seriously... :stunned:
  18. Is that Lou Reed on your avatar ?? :wink3: Nope, actually it's Adam Clayton, from U2. But now that you mention Lou Reed, holy shit it does look like him...!! Loove Lou Reed too, that's crazy! Ok, pretty Guy pictures, to ward off the demonic spirits that might possess this page!! (lmfao I just watched an hour of weird demonic exorcist stuff on the tv too, so I'm all in the OMFG TEH SPIRITS ARE ROAMING mode LOL)
  19. What a great page number to be on for Halloween. The page of the beast..... :wink3:
  20. Welcome to our shared madness!!!!
  21. Ooooo, Point Depot! I had half of this on my old computer, then everything got lost when it crashed. Lost quite a bit. :( Could somebody direct me to this upload? I would be soooooo thankful!!  I'm pretty "new" to the world of bootlegs, etc etc, and I only have a few complete shows. I don't think I have any full ones from '81, although I do have some random recordings. I'll look around in my iTunes folder. But I'd be soooo happy to get Point Depot back!
  22. LMFAO! I will gladly volunteer to be his new manager!! I would be perfect. Only the best for my clients!
  23. Even Better Than The Real Thing (Live in '97)-U2
  24. Hey! Oh my gawd... Your sig picture. :wink3: Hotness. And I love the addition of 'Imagine'. One of my favorite songs, EVER. John Lennon's one of my heros.
  25. Awww, thank you. I try to do my best to help whoever I can, I do wish more people thought that way instead of being so hopelessly selfish with everything they have.
