I was there and my friend and I immediately recognized the bass line. Of course we spazzed out, but were slightly let down that they didn't perform it in the concert. But hey, at least we got a semi "performance"!!!

I never liked music that much before Coldplay came around about 4 years ago. They were the first band I ever cared about, ever wanted to see live, and ever wanted to get EVERY SINGLE THING they release. It's weird to think that before I liked them I never even listened to anything. I had about 2 CDs. From Coldplay I got into the Beatles, then more classic rock, etc etc. But they've always been my favorite. Coldplay literally changed my life, now music is so important to me. I play the guitar and it helps me cope with a lot of things and I never would have discovered that without CP.

I read about how you can tell if tickets are fake when I got my scalped U2 tickets for this past May. What you can do is either tear a TIIIIIIIIIINY little corner, no where near the scan area, and if the fibers are blue then it's authentic. It's some sort of paper the ticket places uses or something to determine them from fake ones. Also, if you put a bit of water on an area (again, not where they're going to scan it because then even if they're real you're screwed :lol:!) and if the ink runs, they're fake print outs. If it doesn't then they should be authentic! Hope this helps, I know how scary it is to not be sure if they're going to scan and let you in at the turnstiles. I went through it in May and almost passed out before they let me in, I was so nervous! :lol:!

That's weird. I got mine from a presale (http://www.musictoday.com?) and they say Ticketmaster on them. I didn't think they would, since they weren't going through the Ticketmaster site. But I'm sure your's are fine. It's the ticket fast print outs you've got to be careful of.

I understand where you're coming from. I was slightly disapointed by the set list. I was hoping something different would be added for the American leg, but to no avail... I was upset to see that Amsterdam, Rush of Blood, Shiver, Trouble, etc all seemed to have been retired, especially when they're my favorite songs. I think, however, that the times really are changing for Coldplay, there's a whole mass of new fans. Let's face it, people want to hear what they know because what fun is a concert if you don't know what's going on? So I think in a way CP's catering to this. They're playing bigger venues, more is, in a way, at stake for them. I'm going tonight to the Tweeter show with my friend, and she only has X&Y. Perfect example right there. I'm going to have to talk her through the Parachutes/ROBTTH stuff. God forbid they play any B-Sides! (By the way: I only payed 49 for my tickets, I think in the presale they overcharged by 20 bucks, so that's been refunded? Either way I almost payed 300 to see them tomorrow night as well! :lol: What we fans do!)

I thought about it and yes, I'm not going to go see Coldplay tonight because there's a chance pot might be there. Not. It was just really annoying at the Plant concert because people were going INSANE. It was...... scary. To say the least. And really, I don't mind at big places if someone's doing it, just don't blow it in my face. Or hand anything to me. Then I couldn't give a shit if you want to do it!
