  1. i think i'm pretty good with learning languages i speak/read/write fluently in hebrew and english abit better in hebrew since i dont get to use english as much, but i know english so well mostly because i lived abroad when i was young and now it's not as good, but still pretty good considering i only use it in this forum and i read in english (i hate reading translated books...) and i also studied arabic at school for 6 years but nothing good came out of that only cause the method of teaching it was really bad. In school i got a 90-95 in arabic, but it's still not good enough for me to understand it or speak it. In october im starting a 5 month course and by the end i should be able to know arabic perfectly. other than that i pick up words quite easily in different languages, but i never really tried to learn another language
  2. i think having a small tatto or two is quite nice. And it is something u REALLy need to think through before u get it, because unlike peircings which u can remove you're stuck with your tattoo forever. I say- dont get anything too big or too noticable that u cant hide somehow. And also dont get it in a place u cant hide, in some work places you're not allowed to show tattoos so say u get one on your hand youd have to walk around with sleeves all the time. or girls getting on their legs, u wouldnt be able to walk with knee long skirts/pants so, it is really something to think about...but i think i would get one someday, i think it's pretty and if you're sure about it than just do it!
  3. dont like it when i need to concentrate s much when i watch TV i'll give it a 4... house?

  10. how far did u get peng? i got to the watch the tape. Isnt the guy in the tape pointing at something on the wall? but there's nothing there ok, i ifgured it out nevermind
  11. im trying it...
  12. and if we go back to the UN partition plan u think the attackes will stop??
  13. what are u talking about?
  14. just because a majority believes in something deosnt make it right. U just seriously under estimated yourself. You basicly said "98% percent of the world thinks israel is wrong, so that's what I believe too! I wanna be like the rest..." plus, most of the world goes by christian belief- does that make other religions wrong? "these murders should stop now"- you're right. But why are u reffering that only to the israeli side when there are murders in both sides?
  15. i have no idea what 6'5 means (i go by the metric system) but ppl around here arent really short lol, guys are around the 1.75- 1.85m, and girls are 1.60 - 1.70 m of course there are exceptionals. if your dad is christian- wouldnt that make u christian by christian law and jewish by jewish law? (im not sure how it goes in christianity) it's cool that u still see yourself as jewish and go to a jewish school even though you're mixed and live a broad. Many ppl mix with other ppl and lose thei jewish heritage. That's why i think it's so good there's a place for jews to be together, there arent so many jews around the world. and about the antisemitism, that's what so scary about it- the way that before WW2 the jews mixed with society, they were like the rest but still they were hated, and all the problems were blamed on them... so it's a scary situation. Thats why i asked if u feel anything living abroad..
  16. it was agreed in the UN we conquered more land in 1967 wehn ALL our neighbours attacked, and we had no choice but to attack back. Luckily we had a strong army and we conquered lands. We gave back Sinai to Egyot and Gaza Strip last year...
  17. what makes u think u r the one accepting the real truth and not the ppl that disagree with u?
  18. ok, u have a point so i'll just say i agree with what he thinks
  19. i wonder who this woman is... she is right.... i leant arabic at school and i recognised some of the words :) i'm proud of myself
  20. u keep claiming there are other ways to confront the situation without using violence. plz, im open to your opinion. Suggest one! dont u think if there was a different way to deal with this we would? U think we enjoy killing civilians, being at war, going down to the shelters all the time and having ppl of our own killed????
  21. we had already discussed this issue so much in the other thread about this. But im just gonna say what i said there (although i have lots of things to say but u can look there) Hizballa is not ssome political party in a democratic country that we would be able to nagotiate with and come to an agreement. Have u ever heard of a nagotiation with a terror organization that worked? Ever heard of the Oslo Agreement? Did that work? Hizballa, amongst other organizations, want the distruction of israel completly. There's no way to nagotiate with that. You'll give them a finger and theyll want the whole hand. You know we gave back Gaza Strip last year? and if there's a side that's killing more civvilians, u should check the statistics. Israel has lost thousands of civilians through the suicide bombings, especially in 2002. And we are defending ourselves because ppl are ignoring the fact that the hizballa is shooting between 100 to 200 missles at us everyday. The only reason we have less causlaties is bacause we have better shelter. We shouldnt be expected to sit back and do nothing because lebanon doesnt have good shelter. Then why did they attack in the first place? and if hizballa wants the best for its ppl, why do they hide amongst civilians? Y did they shoot a missle at nazerath- an arabian city??
  22. hi josh.... do u feel any antisemitism around where live? *gotta go back to work... bye everyone
  23. that's not what he said... the point is that some ppl just seem to be against israel without knowing many facts, without giving it alot of thought just because there's also been antisemitism in families abroad and it just goes through generations. Even unknowingly. like i said earlier, it doesnt mean ppl who critizise israel's actions are antisemitics. But there are who are con israel just for the sake of it, or so it seems...
  24. he never referred what he said to you, i think he's talking about the general public. u would actually think it would be other way round- i mean ppl being pro israel since many many countries seem to be pro hizballa. I think youd expect it to be the other way round since alot of countries were hurt by arab terrorists, and what did the jews ever do? thats what makes me think that antisemitism that was very alive 60 years ago is still somewhere in many ppls hearts.
