That's not true. Only illegal unofficial ticketshops had Arnhem for sale, but no official tickets were sold for that venue. This time it's an official statement from Live Nation..

Very strange...

This morning there was a commercial running on Dutch TV about the album, saying that Coldplay will play Goffertpark on 10 September 2009. Didn't saw it myself, but at least two more people I spoke to, saw it on TV. The commercial said also that there will be more information on LiveNation.nl, though nothing is confirmed by LiveNation. I think it'll come very soon..

Just don't believe Chris ;)

Viva La Vida Tour 2009: Rumours I think this will be the best place to post this, without opening a new thread. There's a rumour that Coldplay will play Nijmegen's Goffertpark on 11th of July with tour title: Nothing is confirmed yet and there isn't a single hint, but we'll wait and see. :)

I think they'll do a European Summer tour with some festivals and some standalone dates like for example R.E.M. did this summer. So maybe festivals like Rock Werchter or Roskilde or something like that and otherwise some open air concerts in places like Amsterdam's Westerpark or Berlin's Wuhlheide or something. It's just speculation people! :)

Awesome night with a great setlist, great impromptu moments and a band playing with much pleasure. Chris has a bit of a cold I think, 'cause he sounded not really good at the begin during some songs... Oh yeah. On the setlist there was 'The Dubliners / Prospekt's March' after Yellow, but they didn't play either of them. Maybe tomorrow. I'm for a 3 in a row (2, 3 and 4 oktober), so you'll be hearing from me again! Cheers, Yevgeni

The lyrics of LIT has been pulled off by the band, since someone thought it would defintely be a 'single', when he heard it (Q Magazine, July 2008). Good news though, this EP. Hopefully that album comes also. And what to do with the 6 album-contract. That one has been achieved by the end of the year, so would Coldplay quit at EMI then?

That second one is hilarious! Lovely to recognize the spots, The Hague and the Government building there, Madurodam, with those little buildings and the Tramline station Buitenhof. The first one is a bit standard, compared to the 2nd one, but actually it is pretty good. :)

This is really an awesome song, never though that Coldplay would go in this direction! I already imagine a live-version, with crowd cheering and I already think it'll be a live favourite. It really gives me a feeling that I'm alive or something. :D

In 2005 I paid 35 euro's for the Gelredome gig, but I would not be surprised they would make it a €45+ price this time.

I think it's way too early to assume that Coldplay will play on 9th of November in the Gelredome...

The band was not included. :) Maybe they'll do a remix for their 2nd single, but I hope not. :)

That's something I wondered from the beginningm of listening to the studio track. It's a pity, but we've got to live with it ;)

To be honest, they're just some bonus songs, BUT if you say that, that would not be fair for songs like Last Flowers or 4 Minute Warning. Actually, you're just getting 6 songs and 2 instrumentals extra and they sound lovely! :)
