  1. I was thinking that too Masterkraig, although when I'm at a Coldplay concert, every song is a sing along, lol.
  2. LOL @ redgirl, I have the same typo issue too! I was looking at some of the music files I had downloaded and renamed and there were a whole bunch where I'd mis typed the band name as Coldpaly.
  3. oooo, that would be a good one. I was cringing watching Leno, when those fans ( and I use that term oh so loosely) were messing up on simple questions any die hard fan would get in an instant!

Love the pic of Jonny and Chris in your Avi Mimi.
  5. This is from Roadie #42 - Blog #11 entry from 7/18. I hope to see something like that in Boston in a few weeks. Finger's crossed. Back on the main stage, the ending to Yes is now similarly transformed, as the guys jam up a storm. Monday night saw Will exploding into life as the four of them played off each other, completely freeform. I couldn't tell if it was the anxiety of the first show, or the excitement of the response, but Will was utterly on fire at being let of the leash like this. It was truly a sight to behold.
  6. Some from LA show via the KROQ galleries The Perv Crew is gonna love the first one.
  7. Cropped from the Spin online article

  14. That's my fav song from VLV. It just grew and grew on me. Hope it stays on the set list too.
  15. LOL @ Angie! I so expected you to drawn Jonny with his porn stache
  16. The excitement is contagious!! Can't wait to hear about it, how the staging was, a set list, EVERYTHING!!
  17. never mind, lololol!
  18. Yup. Although I doubt they wanted my sweaty gym cloths or my daughter's kid music, lol. But seriously, that's all they took.
  19. 1. First related Coldplay memory? **I remember liking Yellow in 2000 when it charted in the US but not being really aware of the band. Unfortunately it was that incident in 2003 that Chris had with the Aussie photog that got the band name stuck in my head. Funny thing is it was that summer too that a friend got me to listen to parachutes and then I was hooked. 2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where? **2X: Manfield, MA in July 2005 and Manchester NH in December of 2005** 3.a Favorite Coldplay album? **Parachutes** b. Favorite Coldplay song? **Amsterdam** c. Favorite Coldplay video? **God Put a Smile Upon Your Face ( because it's so random)** 4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection? **My boxed set of Coldplay Singles on vinyl that I won courtesy of The great folks here at Coldplaying and specifically the Coldplaying Charity Club.** 5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.) ** Being sick as a dog with a fever (and as of that moment undiagnosed Lyme's Disease) and still making plans to go to the Today show gig because Ian so graciously picked my entry as one of the winners. I'm glad now I gave up the passes and someone else got to go. I'd have never lasted out there that long in the heat and humidity...I'd have embarassed myself and probably passed out cold on the pavement. __________________
  20. LOL, I redid my living room last summer...yup, it's painted the most gorgeous shade of yellow!
  21. Me with my second copy of the CD because I was an idiot and left my first copy in my unlocked car.
  22. Here's an idea for you! Go to the Coldplaying Charity Club shop on Cafepress and buy a shirt to wear to the concert. They have some great designs and good prices. I already ordered mine. Then you can still spring for a concert tee after you see the boys if you really can't live with out.
  23. Gotta get a t-shirt. I'm one of the older fans here and when ever I wear one of my concert tees I get lots quizzical looks from (usually younger) folks who say... "You saw Coldplay?"
  24. I've been both with friends and solo. Going alone wasn't bad at all for me.(and I'm kind of shy.) I had floor tickets for X&Y and was near a bunch of really great fellow fans. When the song Talk came up one of them started passing out cheesy cardboard 3-D glasses and our whole section was wearing them by the time the song got rolling. I ended up having a blast.
  25. Just love the effects on that advert for VLV on itunes
