The songs you've heard mention of Sparks, Fix You, Cemeteries of London, have just been played on the radio by bbc1 Zane Lowe. BBC is airing an interview with Chris and Will at the moment, as a preshow thing. Live broadcast of the show hasn't begun yet.

I've never found a way around the Real Player requirement. If you're at work ( and a bit brave) try getting your Real Player Download via a proxy. http://www.proxy.org/ has loads of proxy addresses you can try. You might have to try more than one to get one that allows you to get that download. Depends what the work nanny is blocking access to.

Sorry to hear CT got postponed. A lot of the dates have been shuffled and some dates cancelled so guess you could count yourself lucky that Hartford is still a go.

Not happy with 'em , but I got tickets. Section 301, row 9, seats 3 & 4, nosebleed seats. Ticketmaster was not playing nice. I was online waiting and as soon as they were available I put in for tickets. First set up were crap, upper section 320, 1/4 way behind the stage. I'm thinking, WTF, that's best available at a minute into the ticket sales? I know they release tickets in waves, but geesh. Next two time I got none available ( I was searching specifically floor and loge). Then the site got wonky, firefox kept saying the connection timed out. I guess ticketmaster servers were loading down. Fourth time I actually got in I got some balcony seats decided to try again because they were way at the far end. Everytime I tried for a specific level I got " no tickets available". Hell, twice when I clicked best available I was behind the stage. So finally, when sec 301 came up I just sighed and bought them. I was getting nervous they would sell out. Between the crappy way they handled pre-sale and the changing dates this has been the most stressful concert experience to date.

Enjoyed that review. Very fair handed.

It's been great getting to hear Will in these interviews. The Jo W one was great.

-Big Grin- A new recruit for the WILLUV gang. but, back to the topic at hand... I cringed when I saw that story splashed all over the place. And when I listened to the Jo W interview and Chris stepped in it with the crack comment I thought, "oh lordy, here we go again." I think someone smart must have decided to pair Chris and Will up for these interviews. He (Will) seems to be a nice anchor to all of Chris's adorable randomness. As much as I love it when Chris and Jon are interviewed together, Jon goes all quiet and then that gives Chris way too much room to veer off track and get himself in hot water, lol.

ok, I've been going back and forth trying to settle on one, just one favorite from this album and I'm leaning towards Death and All his friends ( for all the reasons mentioned in the pages ahead of my post) my only complaint? It's too short. It hooked me and while I like the transition into The Escapist, I'd love the song to make a swing back into the slower, piano based beginning....then if they want to segway to The Escapist, then great.

Thanks melanieau. I was going batty jumping from the official site to live nation to ticketmaster trying to sort out the conflicting dates for the Boston show. My sympathies to Winnipeg fans or any of the other fans living in areas with dropped dates

Concerning the Boston MA date, TD/BankNorth venue. Offical site now says: Mon, August 4th 2008 Ticketmaster site now says the date is : Mon, August 4th 2008 Live Nation site also now says the date is : Mon, August 4th 2008 Let me point out that as recently as this past Saturday NONE of the three sites could agree on a date. The dates were all over the place from a few days to a few months apart in disagreement. :/ Wondering if it's safe to consider this a confirmed date and that it's actually the date they're going to stick with.
