  1. Silent Hill : 8/10 Brilliant. A smart, psychological horror.
  2. Argument pwn'd.
  3. I'm not a nerdy college student and I <3 it.
  4. I would love to write something for the newsletter. I love to write. Perhaps if we do this newsletter thing, we can break it down into pairs? Because team-based stuff works better. I.E... two people are assigned a few article to write between them, and they can delegate to each other which ones to write and double-check each other's stuff. IDK, just an idea.
  5. I can't believe the progress we've actually made! Wow! I knew this was going to work... but not this well! This is so great, guys!
  6. True. We all know that the Season Finale will be Desmond's flashbacks, so that leaves the next two weeks for other character's flashbacks. Next week is the "?" episode. It will reveal what the giant "?" in the middle of Locke's map means, and is an Eko-centric episode. Supposedly, Eko asks Locke to help him find the "?". And of course, there will be huge recoil from Ana and Libby's deaths. The following week is called "Three Minutes". It is a Michael-centric episode, probably revealing what happened when he ran off after Walt and what happened to him at the Others's camp. Charlie and Eko get in a confrontation because Eko decides to discontinue the building of the church. Then there's the season finale, which we know will
  7. I like the show. It's unique and original, and continues to pull new twists to keep me interested. The characters all have loads of depth, too.
  8. PIC 1: A bloody guy being carried by three Iraqis. And? What does that show!? PIC 2: A bloody man and a bloody infant in a hospital. Ok... and... it's sad, sure... PIC 3: The one with the solider and the gun pointed at the little kid... the gun isn't pointed at the kid. It's pointed at the bag being held by the woman in the shaw. With all the insurgent (sp?) attacks, the soldiers have to be skeptical. Plus, you can't just judge an entire situation from a picture. You have no clue what the story behind it is. PIC 4: A child in the hospital, while sad, is still irrelevant. You think because children are in hospitals in America, we have the right to kill innocent civilians and justify it? PIC 5: That doesn't even look like a child in front of the tank. And furthermore... I'm sorry... but if there's a military vehicle and you stand in front of it with a rock... PIC 6: ...then what do you think is going to happen? If this is, in fact, the same guy... then he wasn't considered "innocent". He threw himself in front of a moving tank. And to answer your question... human emotion does not justify anything. I would be angry - but that does not mean "Oh, a soldier is pointing a gun at my sister... I should go blow up innocent civilians." And by "war", I mean the war that is going on in Iraq. You know, the one that your propogandish pictures were taken from?
  9. Friends with benefits Coke or Pepsi?
  10. Okay. I looked at every picture and read that article on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. What does any of that have to do with anything? All your pictures were just dead people and casualties in the war. Propoganda like that doesn't help you win any kind of argument. Those aren't "facts". Those are people who died in a war. Maybe you're talking about the picture of a child in a hospital? Or the picture of the dead infant? Ok... what does that prove!? I'm really not thinking that US Soldiers shot an infant. And the article you posted... that doesn't help "justify" the terrorist killing in any way, shape, or form. It's just an alternative to the war on terrorism. Which, by the way, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will never be resolved.
  11. Yeah, seriously. Happy birthday. Imagine if we lived in a world where people lived to be 900 years old.
  12. Wait.. I'm confused. 65 soldiers lost in one month is the most deaths in a five month period!? Please clarify... what five month period are you talking about?
  13. Alyssa... what kind of camera do you have? Just wondering.
  14. Black. Red Peppers or Hot Chilis?
  15. Because sometimes you can compare two pics better if they're beside each other... Haha, my eyes are pretty green. I always thought they were brown...then over the last year they've gotten incredibly green . Either that or I just realized they were green. Haha. Remember - I've got a light shining on my face, too. So they're not really all.. translucent looking... in real life.
  16. LOST Listener Podcast
  17. Hahah wow I never noticed that. I'm going to edit that post with a pic of Michael Stipe to compare.
  18. Hmm... I feel bad for the suckers that are heading into first period right now to take that American History test... while I'm skipping via consent from the parents. Muahaha. OH, and I scratched my eyeball and it's been red adn bloodshot for three days.
  19. So I'm just a little bit emo... Compare me in NYC to Michael Stipe. We are like twins (thank you playflocold), Just bragging bout my green eyes. Yeah... this one isn't my favorite. But I posted it anyway. NOTE: These are all from my MySpace.
  20. I can't wait for next Tuesday. A few of my friends and I are planning to leave school during 2nd Period and go buy Stadium Arcadium. I listened to the first 10 tracks on VH1.com last night, and it's amazing.
  21. Hmm... Nintendo did not bring us trigger buttons. Xbox did. The analogue stick wasn't that revolutionary - it was a re-invention of the joystick from Atari-era. Gamecube sales were less than stellar when compared to Xbox, and even moreso when compared to PS2. The DS also was a stinkbomb when compared to the PSP. Nintendo won't go down without a fight - Lord knows that they have the money to fight for ages. But I just don't see them keeping the interest. People see Nintendo as a childish company now, and only people ages 4-12 will be buying their stuff. Sony and Microsoft have universal appeal. Oh, and to paraphrase Nintendo's President... "People don't want online gaming." Yeah, okay. Because Xbox Live was such a flop.
