I agree, with some of the shots it looks like it might be a 'srs bsns/epic' video, but it could easily turn into a cheesy one with the stereotypical asian theme around it. I'll judge better after seeing the video but either way, music videos are just a reason for music channels to play music, i've already settled on the music itself; a good/bad video won't change my opinion.

I think it just boils down to how many people have heard of Coldplay. I mean, how are you gonna hate a band that you've never even heard of? Whether you like them or not, you've probably heard of Coldplay (them being such a global band) and as a result you've heard at least one of their songs. And that's where the hate it or love it decision is made. But again, if you've never been exposed to a band's music, you won't even get to the judging phase. As a Coldplay fan though, whether someone else likes them or not doesn't affect my choice.

News flash: your opinions on what songs are good or bad are not shared by everyone. As a result shuffling up the set list is a way for all fans to get a chance to hear the songs they want. If a song you don't like is played, go play with your phone or something for the duration of the song.

While ppl are entitled to their opinions, most of them i find (not restricted to this forum) are for stupid reasons. They generally try to hide it by attacking the person instead of the music. What it boils down to is the old hipster motto; they're too mainstream and to ruffle some feathers i'm gonna say they suck. For me I respect Grohl and enjoy a few Foo tunes. I havent heard much Adele but she has a great voice, I'm not sure if that will hold though. Also as evidenced by her performance last night, shes relying on her voice, but past that, a boring performance; much like 2003 era Coldplay when even they said they were boring on stage.

Ahh, that is a shame, but yes perhaps the closing gig. Either way, I still stand by Foo Fighters as a better act for a 'manly' sport than Coldplay. Keep yer pants on though everyone, i'm still a Coldplay fan, its just that they don't quite fit; kinda like Jay-Z at Glasto fiasco a few years back.

If I were to say something like "I hope ppl wash their hands after the 'loo", I'm not talking about anyone in particular, but if you were one of those ppl, you would take a second to think about it right? Just because Coldplay wasn't directly mentioned doesn't mean they aren't in their minds thinking about it (at least I hope so). I'm fairly sure Grohl and the band are at least on talking terms (from that coldplay doc a year ago or so) so I hope Coldplay are thinking about it and tries to keep a head like Grohl's in terms of making music. I'm not gonna argue it by spewing out 'facts' but at least from what I hear, the music has lost a bit of feeling/soul and replaced it with something bigger than it is better.

'Best of You' would destroy anything Coldplay could put out. Be realistic, i think an american football crowd would enjoy a heavier rock sound to coldplay's 'limestone' rock. Having said that, I have no idea why they picked Madonna to do the show this year. Coldplay, save your hits for a real global event. London 2012 anyone?
