  1. So my band has been on hiatus for a long time (due to real life), so we started up again. As a test, each of us chose a song for all of us to do, yknow, to warm up. Yesterday was my turn, and I chose Don't Panic. My friends sometimes tease me that Coldplay is all I listen to, and they sometimes groan when I start talking about them. Well, they were kinda forced to listen and learn the song yesterday, but they really seemed to like it! Our lead singer is asking about LP2, and I was showing him Politik, and AROBTTH. Then I showed him the Live 2003 version. I actually havent heard it in a while!
  2. well alright, here you go then!
  3. I nominate this to go to first post https://twitter.com/i/live/869974381853790208
  4. ah yeah, thats it, its coming back to me now. another interesting thing is Miracles II doesnt have another collaborator, so maybe no special guest or featuring spot?
  5. A cover of Imagine with that particular group of artists is sureeee to go over well
  6. Heres a link for us to leaf through https://www.ascap.com/repertory#ace/writer/280535470/BUCKLAND JONATHAN MARK Note, before anyone things they spot something new, a lot of these are band originals obviously, but others were part of skits (such as the game of thrones red nose day campaign), or samples from other artists, or things the band has worked on a while ago. With that being said, looking through the 190 entries, the only one I can't explain or dont remember is 'closer to home'.
  7. well Phil likes Swallowed in the Sea after all this time, so I like his taste more right now!

  11. Didn't dig the new Foo Fighters. Liam Gallaghers attempt was a pleasant surprise though.
  12. Just listening to a playlist at work and Daylight came on. Then it clicked that it kinda sounds like the more hype parts of All I Can Think About Is You. Anyone else think/thought so or am I high?
  13. here's the song FYI

  15. quick CC story because I wanted to share and also couldn't find a place to put it. I don't go see movies very often, but I did see Casino Royale (James Bond) in theatre with my sister. I remember hearing the opening song and thought, wow this is good. At the end of the film I stayed and watched the credits to try and find who the band/singer was and it was Chris Cornell. Went home and downloaded it ASAP. So I'm playing it on repeat and my sister caught me and thought it sounded familiar and I told her the story. What a unique voice he had....
  16. Funnily enough, that was my very first thought. He doesn't 'rock the boat' enough to be entertaining on this type of show.
  17. ex member here: not to say I or the rest of the team didn't have any IT skills, but not all the roles require high IT skills. Mulitmedia perhaps, but Stephen takes care of that already plus the website hosting side of it. As a mod, writer, wiki editor, facebook/twitter poster, it doesnt take any more knowledge to do than posting on the forum or tweeting something.
  18. Speaking strictly as a phone enthusiast (as I suppose most people have a phone but perhaps not a dedicated camera), you might like a phone with optical image stabilization (OIS) to help with shaky hands. Luckily modern day iPhones and Samsungs (S line and Note line) have this (and I also suppose most of us have one of these 2 phones). Do a little research on your own phone by googling your phone name and OIS or something. I guess you can make it work if its a photo, but the difference will really be had in videos. Along the same lines, most cameras on phones will lack quality in low light situations (with artifacting, noise, etc) despite what their adverts tell you, at least compared to a dedicated camera. Switching gears to dedicated point-and-shoots, I recall shows in Korea having pretty high quality amateur shots. I'd suggest going to Youtube, clicking a video, seeing the quality of the video and if so, asking the uploader what camera they used.

  21. ^very cool I was gonna ask if it was a prerequisite to wear glasses, but its probably to keep the powder out of the eyes I guess?
  22. Actually, that was my first guess. But I settled on the other one because it made a bit more sense (especially with the next line).
  23. 3:08-3:34 Tell me again how Rihanna is bad.
  24. Meh, dont think this is 100%, but it fills the gaps. Also upgrading my mark to a B at minimum because of dat solo and bass
