07-Nov-08: Orlando - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I am not going to Philly now that date has changed... my flight/hotel/car package was not changeable and will lose a significant amount of money. So definitely going to Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale. I need time to recover my feelings! :\

Tour Schedule Has Changed
We should rename this "The thread of confusion" for all the confused fans who don't know which end is up! :whatever:

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I sent an email to Live Nation two days ago and they never answered! Very similar to yours Joe, only I said I was flying in, guess it really doesn't matter how we are getting there, just when? I have never experienced this confusion ever ever in all the years of concerts. Debs may have a more direct contact don't you think? [email protected]

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Now the artist page has changed again within this hour from June 25to June 29th! And the calendar is now showing June 29 from yesterday's July 25. Now just change the ticket page you fools! :smash: Edit? OK, I am not crazy, but one artist page says still June 25th... the other artist page says June 29th...same artist page...but entered to it from two different ways! Yikes, I had enough for tonight! Tomorrow is another day! :toilet:

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I did the same thing... then I quickly went into my work website to please beg them not to cancel the 29 and 30 and so I don't know if they will read it tomorrow after they cancel my original vac days... noooo! I hope I still have my June days! They probably think I am cracking up or crazy! This is embarrassing for me, as I am always organised person. Well, I definitely still have the flight/hotel/car package b/c that is not changeable, I lose money if I don't use it on the June date. I'm so confused at this moment!

Is Stubhub reliable??
I have bought from them and sold a few tickets also the last several years... they guarantee all their tickets and if problem, they will replace with tickets as similar as possible. I never had a problem. Plus, they email the FedEx prepaid to Seller and seller has to follow exact directions for sending tickets or seller will not receive payment and only after buyer receives by FeEx...there is also waiting period by StubHub before paying the Seller which they guarantee buyer satisfaction. Every seat I had was yes, expensive, but very much worth it to be up front!

Tour Schedule Has Changed
there are conflicting dates all over the place and Live Nation keeps changing things around. I sent a message to Live Nation since Philadelphia is only a couple weeks away, it's freakin driving me crazy! The venue, Wachovia Center, has changed date July 25 on ticket page and June 29 on their artist page, LIve Nation has June 29, Official site June 29, so waiting for Live Nation to answer. Wachovia has answered that the date is now changed to July 25 will honor original tickets. So who is right? And I hope Debs is right, cause I have nonchangeable flight/hotel/car package! I will never book this way again! I never thought CP would not make the first night of their tour! OK, so big lesson learned here! :(

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Hello... is there anyone out there? That has communicating powers to the Coldplay Tour management that can give some definite answer on this date? There are alot of people with travel arrangements that are "up in the air"(no pun on words), but yes, anyone with some answers would be appreciated! Debs? If you come on this board or anyone with a connection? Come on Coldplay management! Does anyone not have their head up their ass! Answer please!

Radiohead or Coldplay?
Radiohead is a much more intricate and seasoned in their technique and writing and well, they are not even comparable in the instrumental talents they have. I cannot compare the two... not even close after seeing them live twice this past month and am traveling for another date on their second leg. Their stage production was the best I have ever seen or heard! Coldplay on the otherhand, I like their stuff also, but they are still trying to stretch their musical talents and maybe they will become as talented as Radiohead one day, in a different style definitely. And as far as stage production... well, as of this day, they seem like they can't it right for this upcoming tour. When Radiohead went out on tour, they were ready. Thom's voice is the best in the studio or live, it is strong...while Chris's voice seems to be weaker these days...straining or trying to hard, I don't know what it is exactly. The two Jonny's... Greenwood... so talented in many ways, in many directions, and classical work is outstanding... if haven't heard, the soundtrack from "There Will Be Blood" Buckland... sorry, good guitarist, like to listen to him, is stretching abilities outside lately...but can't touch Greenwood. Yes, this is a Coldplay site, you asked the question here. I like them both, but in different levels.

Tour Schedule Has Changed
Someone mentioned behind on production... but if that's the case, why even start a tour if they are not ready! Besides screwing all the fans around, they show very ass backwards management who have no respect for anyone else... very bad business on all levels. And it would be nice if Coldplay.com could get their shit together with updates!

Philly and Orlando, those were the two shows I was going to, now the Philly was changed to a month later and Orlando taken off the tour list. This is not good! :(

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Well, I haven't tried to change my flights yet, cause I don't know if this new date is permanent or what! I am going to lose money anyway around it! So will wait this one out a few more days! Cause it just seems strange that this band would travel all the way across the country for this date! And it won't be the first show anymore...which sort of messes up this sign campaign! I don't know if I can get time off from work either! WTF! :(
-
25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
It's changed on Live Nation and I couldn't find on Ticketmaster? WTF! Why would they come from all the way across the country to do Philly? That doesn't even make any sense! What a waste of energy on that one! And as for myself will be losing money on my flights since they were nonrefundable! :(

23-Jun-08: New York - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
The date of notification was originally June 5... still optimistic!

Coldplay to perfom at MTV Movie Awards on June 1
they were nervous alright... but it was their very first live performance... how cool is that? too much confetti stuff, Chris was spitting it out! I still was excited for them! So they are using the keyboards. Wished they used a live string section! I think the confetti brought the house down... too distracting! Whoever set that one up was a screw up! They should have used more lighting techniques instead! Or confetti that catches the lights! Just my opinion! :)

Coldplay to perfom at MTV Movie Awards on June 1
Hey, I can't believe Chris made a comment with fire in it. ... OMG! he didn't even think about the fire there! He cracks me up! And they were wearing those jackets! OMG! They said they made em and I believe it, those raggy arm bands and stuff. This stuff really cracks me up! Hey, I'm surprised they didn't have the dirt makeup on! LOL  Must be designer rags!

The Observer (UK) Interview (+ new Bakery picture)
I like that they made their own clothes! Do you believe that one? They are seamstresses! Well, maybe that's why those bands on Chris jacket look kind of raggy! Maybe b/c they are rags! OMG! I hope he was joking! And their makeup is rubbing dirt on the face! Talk about getting back to basics!

"Coldplay to perform a special duet at MTV Movie Awards"

25-Jul-08: Philadelphia - Wachovia Center - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Philly is a great city, Declaration of Independence, Liberty Bell, Rocky, and Philly Cheesesteaks (wit or witout)... ahh, can't wait to get my mouth around one of these...whoohoo! Great city needs a great band, "el presente!"... "Alltheistic Coldplay!" (I just wanted to use that word... it's a new Chris word) :) and Bump this Philly thread! :D
