I'm working on a new album, hopefully to be released before the end of the year. It would mean a lot to me if you could give some of it a listen. I'm not convinced the self titled will have a big tour. GS and EL didn't, and S/T sounds like it's going to be in a similar vein stylistically. I also can't see them doing another big world tour so soon after MOTS ends.

What do you guys recon will be the turnaround for LP11? It sounds like it's been written and probably mostly recorded, and I'm sure they don't want to drag out the MOTS era to 2030. I'm (really optimistically and somewhat delusional) hoping it could come out at the end of 2025. Given there'll be a movie attached I'm expecting a very different sort of rollout and release.

What makes you think Neon Forest and All My Love are 100% certainties?

This is totally selfish but I have a baby due late October, I would really like to be able to enjoy Moon Music before my life turns to chaos. An early July release would be perfect for me.

Will Ayra Starr be on this album then? Or the musical? It's a bit odd she'd be in Coldplay's studio otherwise

It's possible that this is an outdated tracklist (the video was shot in 2023). The leaked tracklist has a lot of common ground with this one but has more songs added, so it's possible the leaked tracklist is still the correct one? If they're tossing up those three songs I hope they go with Neon Forest. And I agree, UFO does make sense for the musical. As does 2 Aliens come to think of it.

Just noticed they only counted 9 songs. Neon Forest, MUSIC and Angel's Song don't have track numbers assigned (or one of them is an illegible 6)

At least with UFO we have a demo we can listen to whenever we want. If the finished song is as good as Llama says it is then it would be a shame not to hear it, but it's not like the song will be a total mystery. 2 Aliens though? Living with just a snippet for several years is going to drive me bonkers.

Could just be Moon Song renamed

2 Aliens was on several whiteboards before this, praying it makes it in some form. If they vault it forever then grrr, but it would be a very Coldplay thing to do. On reflection it's pretty damn close to the leaked tracklist. No UFO or 2 Aliens, and Moon Song isn't listed (although if it's just an ambient interlude it might not need to be) but everything else is pretty much the same, including One World as the closer.

Is it possible MUSIC and We Play are alt titles for other songs we know?

That's considerably less exciting than the "leaked" one
