That's excellent. It's a pop song for sure, but it's the sort of pop song Coldplay do really well. Reminds me a lot of the AHFOD title track.

Is he talking about Coldplay self titled or MOTS3 (which would make sense if they still insist on it being a movie) Spending a full decade dedicated to the MOTS concept… not sure how I feel about that.

They're doing the listening events beforehand, so I'm sure someone will sneak a phone in and post a recording. That's what happened when The Smile held a similar event earlier this year.

We now know for a fact that the leaked snippets of Jupiter, Good Feelings and All My Love don't match the album versions. Hopefully the full early versions make their way out someday.

The acoustic snippet sounds nice, is there a studio snippet too? The story is a little vague on that.

I think it's probably bullshit. But I'm also hoping the rumours of MM and MOTS3 being made at the same time were true, and that we'll be getting MOTS3 sooner than anticipated. Otherwise we'll be waiting until 2030 for something that was meant to be wrapped up by 2025.

tbf an announcement could mean any number of things. It could be as much as them posting a message saying "MOTS3 is a thing and it will be out eventually, maybe next year or something" which we already know but they haven't officially said anything on it.

I feel like it needed a different vocal melody. Chris is just copying the guitar riff and straining his voice in the process. The instrumental will be a treat when it leaks, though.

I agree that most of the surprises have been spoiled but there are still a few things I’m excited to find out. Moon Music - nobody seems to have any idea what this is and the leak community are keeping real quiet about it. All the opening songs on Coldplay albums (not including interludes) have been really strong, so I hope that trend continues. AH/AR - how on earth is this 3 in 1 thing going to work? How will Neon Forest fit in? Is Angel Song really as beautiful as people say? This is the track I’m most hyped for if you couldn’t tell. One World - I’m expecting it to be similar to the live version but the 6:47 runtime raises a few questions. Is this version significantly longer than the live one, and if so did they add an extra section? Or is there a hidden track (I kinda hope not but we’ll see) The other song we don’t really know that much about is Jupiter. The demo snippets (which didn’t reveal a ton) aren’t really relevant anymore as the song has been rearranged and the lyrics have been changed. I’m not super hyped for it though, the new lyrics are really off-putting to me.

What if the ambient intro is Neon Forest and the "Stars in your eyes..." bit is M.U.S.I.C? Just a thought.
