I didn't like it first listen. However I also didn't like Dear Science, Return To Cookie Mountain, Merriweather Post Pavilion or Blur's 13 on first listen and I love them all to death now. So I'm remaining hopeful.

I've read the book, though I'll probably wait for it to come out on DVD before I see the movie. Not that I want to, just time restrictions.

The bigger question is... will there be another album? I mean this is a reunion show, there hasn't really been any mention on new material at all. We'll just have to see what happens. As for the artwork, it's alright though frustrating as the artwork for the last best of album was CLASSIC! This is just, meh.

If they're anything like TV On The Radio or Animal Collective I'm willing to give them some chance.

Well Phoenix are #2 on Australian iTunes right now, beaten only by a Ministry of Sound compilation. Since I completely tuned out of the charts completely after my ears got raped by one manufactured pop idol too many, it's a real surprise to see Phoenix chart so well. I had no idea they were so popular round these parts. Well there you go.

I did a little bit of research and apparently the version from the initial leak has since been remixed for the final release version. I've heard it's an improvement, so hopefully that means it wont sound distorted, overcompressed and dreadful now. If this is the case, I'm really looking forward to listening to this album. If not, well that's a real shame as there some great songwriting on here.

Two Weeks is alright. Should check this album out sometime.

Blur are great. And they've got a new compilation coming out soon. "Midlife - Beginners Guide To Blur" or something like that. Seems a bit pointless to me but what are you gonna do?

Hm... is the compression really high and brickwalled on the album? The version I downloaded a month ago was almost unlistenable because of this but I'm hoping that it was just the leak and the album version is fine. Otherwise, I cant see myself listening to it too much which is a shame as I can tell there are some really good songs on here.

I listened to it last night. I'm conflicted as to what to think. After hearing Foreign Land and not being overly impressed by it, as well as reading a number of negative reviews I didn't expect this to be a good album. I pretty much expecting BFRW #2, which whilst was a good album I don't need to hear it again. So I was quite surprised when I found a lot of it was the total opposite of what I was expecting. I enjoyed it first listen around because of the variety the band have conducted but second time round I began to find it a bit... generic pop? So I don't know.

I liked American Idiot but I don't know whether I should bother with this album. I had my Green Day phase, now I'm kinda over them.

I love living in a world where The View are one of the worst bands. Because they are fucking genius compared to this slut.

I've had the digital copy for what seems like months now so it easy to think it's already out.
