  1. Do you do it? Im just curious to know.... Over here they've made the laws against drinking and having sex more strict in the past few years. If you get caught they'd take away your underwear and all your condoms for a good 6 months. And the campaigns against it are endless. There's a song on the radio that keeps playing in my head "If you drink, than u dont have sex!" So indredibly lame :disappointed: But I was wondering how effective are all these campaigns and laws. I mean, we all know by now that smoking is bad for and yet ppl still start smoking, many never try to quit. We all know how dangerous drinking and having sex is, and it can get you in trouble with the law. And still I know way too many people who do it. Hows it like where you come from?

  7. Ryan Adams goes hip-hop The alt-country king tries his hand at rapping Ryan Adams has gone in a surprising new musical direction - by trying his hand at rap. The alt-country star has streamed a new track 'Look Who's Got A Website' on Ryan-Adams.com which features him rapping. Sounding like a cross between Beck and Beastie Boys, Adams gives shout outs to New York, Kevin Costner and witches. In the track, Adams raps about artists who attempt to replicate his sound: "I could destroy galaxies of alternative country wannabees/With a bottle of whiskey." He also raps about the critical maulings and low sales of his recent albums have got: "Two and a half star... My record went bulsar wood... bascially he's alternative country but crappy." Meanwhile Adams is set to play London's Shepherds Bush Empire on Saturday (September 30) - however, it's unclear whether or not he will be busting out the rhymes. source: NME website P.S. yo! interesting news lol

  12. Chris Martin always lied. this time too. there's no manager at EMI who would allow them to waste 5 years without any new albums...2011 for the new album?? lol, very unrealistic... --------------------------------- LP4: between 2007 October - 2008 June not earlier or later ^quote that
  13. so, i decided to re-listen to the whole album today morning. my thoughts: this album makes you realise how shit today's indie pop/rock music is. unlike the today's indie bands, Jeff Mangum wrote some brilliant lyrics. and if we add his unique voice and in some places melancholy, in other places moving music, that just makes everything's complete and perfect. In The Aeroplane Over The Sea can be easily an image to follow for other bands. it's not that kind of cool album you would expect to play on the radio stations or at the parties, it's more a personal album which will touch your heart already at the very beginning "and this is the room, one afternoon I knew I could love you, and from above you how I sank into your soul, into that secret place where no one dares to go" ...and it will keep you touched during the whole album... "and one day we will die, and our ashes will fly, from the aeroplane over the sea, but for now we are young, let us lay in the sun, and count every beautiful thing we can see, love to be, in the arms of all I'm keeping here with me" "in my dreams you're alive and you're crying, as your mouth moves in mine soft and sweet, rings of flowers around your eyes and I'll love you for the rest of your life..." 10.0 highlights: The King Of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1; In The Aeroplane Over The Sea; Two Headed Boy; Holland, 1945; Communist Daughter; Two Headed Boy Pt. 2
