Yeah Bitter Sweet Symphony is a good call, that's my lifestory too pretty much. Another Verve tune is as well, The Drugs Don't Work - watching someone taking drugs and medication that's supposed to help them and make them feel better, but realising that it's not helping them at all and that they're dying infront of you, that's heartbreaking, and Richard Ashcroft somehow managed to channel all of that emotion into one of the best songs ever written. Amazing. And the line, "All this talk of getting old, it's getting me down..." - really sums up the way I'm feeling. My my how depressing :P

I went to watch Southport v Boston Utd today just for something to do. It finished 2-2 and was a good game. The last 2 games I've been to have been 'non-league' - Bath and now Southport. Very enjoyable, very muddy, very wet, tough players, hard tackles, cheap half-time cups of tea - a great day out.

The tracklisting should have been finalised last Friday and we haven't heard anything. That's my major gripe with Prospekt at the moment, but I'm willing to forgive if it's posted by the end of this week. EDIT: Sorry that doesn't really answer the question does it. Hmm, I'm undecided.

I remember seeing Smoky Beckham a few years ago, although I've a feeling it was just Smoky Bacon with a cunning name to try and boost sales. Unless they managed to extract a unique taste from David Beckham...
