Can someone please try and get on coldplay.com please? I just tried and it's not working for me. Every other site is but not coldplay.com... I'm thinking either an new site is ready to go live, or my internet connection is crap (yes I know I should be in bed now!) EDIT: Never mind. I tried it on my laptop and the site is working after all, internet on here is just being stupid. False alarm.

Music's more than just thinking about what might be sentimental, depressing, obscure, metephorical - you write about what you're feeling about above all. If he's happy to be in love, depressed about the death of a loved one, confused about the shitty world we live in, then who cares if he's Shakespeare or not. "Give me love over this" isn't the most obscure, beautiful or complex lyric ever, but when Chris sings that line in Politik, it makes all of my hairs stand on end. That's what makes a good lyric.

Another distinct possibility is that the majority of people on here will compare it to Radiohead and hate it :D

I wouldn't say no... Flakes are so gorgeous. I saw Joss Stone at the Knowlsey Festival last year, she was very good and had a good laugh with the crowd. Some guy had a huge blow up doll of a naked man with everything on show and he held up it during 1 of her songs and she started laughing uncontrollably - there's a video on YouTube somewhere...

Does anyone know why for some of the live shows the riff for Speed Of Sound is played by Jonny and you can't hear the piano as well? I'm not bothered about it I'm just wondering if there was a particular reason why. Like in Toronto when it's played I'm sure that's Jonny playing it, you can just about hear Chris' piano - maybe it's just to make a bigger noise? Anyway.
