That's the problem with emos and goths. I'm sure they're nice people but they're just stupid, you can't have a fringe these days without being called an emo, you can't wear black jeans without being called an emo, argh they make me wanna throw them off a high building. I'd go with Yellow, as long as they get in the list it's cool, any song would be great, but they have said a few times that Yellow is special to them, as all of their songs are, but yeah I'd go with that.

In this interview at around 3.35 Chris says they put a time track in the middle of the album but when I play the CD Speed of Sound follows on after X&Y without a gap as if there wasn't a deliberate gap between the 1st and 2nd half. Has anybody got a copy with the gap in between the 2?

Diesel also. I've seen Guy wearing a black Diesel Indsutry Class of 78 t-shirt which looks very plain but very cool at the same time, like you said. Diesel also do biker style jackets with zips on the sleeves very similar to what Chris and Guy wear and I've seen them go on eBay for about £80, a bit expensive for me, but they look very nice.

I was browsing YouTube and found this comment underneath the video of Talk in the Radio 1 Live Lounge: "The whole way through the tour, Jonny would sabotage Guy's bass, and at the final concert Guy saw Jonny do it and they got tangled up haha. I love Coldplay". Is this a well documented fact that I've completely missed or is anybody else unaware of Jonny's acts of espionage?

As Coldplay.com I can't see what Will's equipment is for tours, does anybody happen to have it stored somewhere as I'd like to know this info. Wikipedia used to have his equipment for A Rush Blood and Twisted Logic tours but it has been taken off since last time I looked. I tried searching but didn't find anything.

One thing's for sure - if Chris is ever asked what the song is about he'll say something along the lines of: "Me and the guys were playing on a beach in Wales after we'd written Yellow and Jonny found a bucket so we thought it'd be really cool to put it on our heads and pretend it was a crown!" Or something like that anyway.

Wikipedia suggests the new website will have a theme similar to that of the new album. It is Wikipedia though so I wouldn't take that as gospel.

I got the feeling Bucket For A Crown was about either 1 or more of the band members, or somebody else in the music industry, who thought they had it all and life was great but they messed it up somehow and have to endure the shame of wearing a bucket on his head (metaphorically) instead of a crown (kind of the same theme as Keane's The Frog Prince, in which the song is about how nice someone used to be but then turned into an idiot - Johnny Borrell apparently). Or it could be about, in general, fame can really mess you up, or life can mess you up, which kind of fits in with the song title "The Fall Of Man" - could the 'theme' of Album 4 be about how crazy fame is and how annoying the press are??? However, I could be very wrong lol. Whatever Bucket is about, it sounds amazing :)

Any drummers here who can help? I know Will uses Remo skins but which type are best, the Emperor or the Ambassador, does anyone know what type Will uses? I guess it'd be quite hard to know unless you actually sat his kit, which I don't think anyone here has had the pleasure of doing!
