The amount of hate on this site lately is ridiculous - "they have changed as people, they do not care about their fans, I could write a much better album than X&Y (go do it then!), I hate this band now, if Album 4 sucks I will hate Coldplay forever, they should not be affected by the media and the paparazzi" - what planet do some of you live on.

Anyone else going to the Blackpool gig tonight or tomorrow? I'll be there tomorrow.

I went to the Manchester War Child gig and it was amazing. Peter Kay was the special guest compere and was hilarious. Tom was really really ill so the set was cut short by 4 songs but it didn't detract from a great night that helped raise a lot of money for War Child.

Whoop whoop this is extremely cool!!! A cameo appearance from Paul and Ringo would do just nicely. Could Coldplay also make an appearance I wonder... I hope so!!!

Would anybody like to instigate this? I would but I'm only an ideas kinda guy, I'm rubbish at organising. If it's not possible then it's no problem, I just thought I'd suggest it. Aso with the huge Multimedia section on this forum people already share a lot of music by other bands anyway so I don't know if this would be very popular.

I signed up for the Keane CD swap, names get paired up on Halloween night!!! I'm very excited about it, the prospekt of getting a CD from someone I've never met (even though I could just download them and may even have heard some of them before) is very exciting.

Has the Coldplaying forum ever done a CD Swap? There's one happening on the Keane forum at the moment - The moderators choose a subject and we all make CDs of songs with that theme and we are paired up with other boardies and we then mail the CDs to each other and write 'reviews' on the forum. Would any of the mods or other boardies be interested?

The polyphony is to do with the number of notes you can play at any one time - but why would you want to play 32 notes at any one time? Unless you were laying the normal piano sound with, for example, strings or woodwind voices? I don't quite understand that. I'm guessing if I wanna play a Coldplay song or any somng for that matter then it'd be fine right. Technology hey, so confusing!

It seems the YPG625 is no longer being produced, so a guy in a music shop has told me. What is the 'replacement' for it? The DGX620 seems pretty similar. Also, is the 32 note polyphony a probem at all? I've read on some piano forums that 64 note is better, but 32 seems to be pretty good from what I can understand.

It will probably go up to at least £100, the others that ebay shop has sold have. Sorry I'm not really an expert, why is it only decent? How does it compare to the Yamaha that's been talked about in this thread? Are Yamaha really that superior?

I'm looking for something that can give me a sound similar to that of Keane - does the YPG-625 have some decent sounds? The 'electric piano' setting on some I've been looking at sounds terrible!
