Ah, Trace! I'm so excited that you're getting this going again, and breathing new life into the CCC!! Looks like there is already lots of interest brewing - I'd also love to help out in any way I can (send me a PM if you need anything). I'm also thinking about starting the $1.36 campaign up again in a few months - it was such a fun and successful project. Coldplayers are the best! :D

RIP Nettie! :( I didn't really know her but (from her posts) she seemed like such a vibrant, enthusiastic person. I'm very sorry to hear this tragic news. My thoughts are with her friends and family.

Hi all you lovely CCC supporters ! I'm sorry for the lack of updates for the past year. I have excuses but wont bore you with them! In any case, I'd like you to know that money is still being accumulated and sent to Zali (and still helping Save the Children provide Zali and his community with education and health care). Don't forget that together our small donations can go a long way. You may have noticed that cheques are being mailed to STC a little more infrequently than before....this is because we have fewer donations coming in - but don't fret!...this project of ours is still alive!

Some news from STC (a note to all sponsors of children in Mali): "With the help of your support, Save the Children last year helped build and equip 99 classrooms in Mali, train 302 teachers, and distribute de-worming pills, vitamin A and iron supplements to approximately 59,000 children. We can't thank you enough for your support of these Save the Children programs that are making such an important difference in the lives of boys and girls in Mali." :D

Just une petite annonce de ma part : je vais déménager à France (Cholet, France) à la fin septembre pour etre assistante d'angalis au collège. :D Si vous pouvez me raconter quelque chose d'interesant de la ville Cholet (Pays-de-la-Loire), ca sera formidable....je sais rien (et je trouve très peu sur l'internet). C'est vraiment dur que je raterai voir Coldplay à Paris par une semaine !! J'espere qu'ils repasseront bientot.

Hiiiii Tracie! :nice: Yes, yes, the CCC is definitely in need of a booster shot. :) I remember that towards the tail end of the last tour, we talked about having people pass out fliers explaining the positives of free trade (or information regarding other social/environmental issues). If there are any pre-gig meet-up parties, then perhaps the CCC could be promoted through those.... Also, just like to do some promotion myself, while I'm at it....! We've got some really cool new merch in the CCC store for the upcoming VLV tour! And as always, all net proceeds go to Oxfam Unwrapped. I'm going to be out of the country until mid-August, but will definitely do my part to pitch in with the club when I return. :)

Hey everyone! Just stopping by to let you know that I'll be out of the country until mid-august and wont be able to send our monthly donations to Zali until after I get back. Perhaps we can collect a sizable sum and send Save the Children a nice, fat check at the end of August. :sneaky: If I don't get the chance to stop by the forums much for the next couple weeks/months, I hope you all have a great summer!!

AND DAMN IT. The free Brixton show is on June 16th.....I LEAVE LONDON ON JUNE 13th!!
