Sure animals have forms of communication to satisfy basic survival needs (i.e. hunting and mating signals, and danger alerts), but it is not nearly as evolved or complex as our own language. I highly doubt that animals have the capacity to say "Hey Simba, catch any antelope today? Woo, sure is hot out today." But I do think that animals can communicate a lot of than what we give them credit for. Research on primates shows that chimpanzees have very elaborate social systems that can be attributed to their higher intelligence and advanced thought. Btw, when I was a kid I used to have full conversation with my cat.....and my stuffed animals. Now that's a whole other topic of discussion! :P

Vic, it's not just you, that ebay stuff is hella confusing to me too. :rolleyes: BUT, this missionfish business (http://www.missionfish.org/index.html) seems like just what we need. From what I understand, it's creates a paypal account that is directly liked to a charity, and is supported by eBays Giving Works donation plan. (From eBay:....eBay has partnered with MissionFish to make charitable listing easy and has created very specific guidelines for allowing charitable solicitations on eBay. We will allow sellers to list items on eBay and collect proceeds (in whole or in part) on behalf of a charity, either via MissionFish, or directly on eBay, as long as the listings meet these guidelines.) Missionfish has a list of supported charities, so if we can find some organizations on there that we'd like our money to go to, I think it might be the best plan. What do you guys think? I always panic before tests and on occasion have wrote simple 'trigger words' on my hand to help jog my memory. But then, during the test, I'm usually too afraid to look at them, thinking that the prof will catch me. :( I guess I'm lucky to have the most amazing short term memory ever....woohoo last minute cramming!!

Okay, I made another. Not sure if I am completely satisfied with it yet. I was attempting to design something a little more unisex. I might change the color scheme. I just remembered that ebay has some policies regarding 'charity listings' (http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/fundraising.html). So before we list our items, saying that all the proceeds go to charity, we have to look into this further.....or else we could be banned from ebay! (this happened to a friend of mine). Ack, so many complications....but we'll get it sussed out. :thumbsup:

You know, I think this will work!! We can put fixed prices on ebay too, right? This week I'll try to find a good place to make shirts. The place where I work might actually be able to make a lot of the stuff we need. (It's a printing and mailing place. :P) Frostbite, can't wait to see your designs. :) I've got some other ideas for shirts, which I'll post later.
