Ha ha - I remember - he was double-dating some Icelandic girls! The article said he'd put his 'double dating' behind him and settled down living with Chloe in Camden. How funny - I can't imagine Jonny ever being a real ladies man!:P Tams - that is a really great photo! :) It's good to have a recent one too!

I agree he looks better with short hair - which is why it's good that he has cut it! :D:D When I saw him at the Albert Hammond Jr gig a few months ago he had cut it since the south america tour, thank goodness! He looked really good. Hopefully Tams can post her picture of him from the Louvre, as its quite recent :) We could do with a new pic! Dajrekshn - Apparently she is a jewelry maker, which is cool! I remember an Evening Standard article from 2005 that said she was his girlfriend of 3 years, so I guess wer're talking at least 5 years together.

Yup - he's gonna be a daddy! Apparently in October. I don't think he's married though, unless he's kept that one very quiet! He's been engaged for a while though, so who knows... ;)

Exactly - no way to tell from just the titles. If people had been told the title 'Yellow' before they heard the songs they probably would have though they were a bit random too... I think it's good that it is quite short. I liked X&Y but I did think it was a little too long and would have been better with a few less tracks...

The website 'celebritybabyblog' reported a while back the rumour of the pregnancy and in the comments someone says that their friend did a jewellery course with Chloe and she was quite big and due in October... You never know if that is true but if so, that is REALLY quite soon! :o:o

Exactly, it would be way more more weird if they suddenly started attending red carpet events and parties wrapped around each other posing for the paps. Then I'd start to worry! :P They've always made it very clear that they avoid being snapped together at events and talking about each other to the press, so this is just old news.

Turning 30, becoming a dad, releasing another album. It's gonna be quite a year for Jonny! :)

Wow - how cool! Don't worry - the one time I saw Jonny I didn't pluck up the courage to talk to him either, and yes, I REALLY regret it too! :embarassed: At least it sounds like you might have a chance to meet him again sometime if someone you know married someone in Chloe's family. You should definitely say hi next time, I'm sure he'd be flattered. It's always nice to hear someone say how lovely he is and it makes me so happy that he's with someone lovely! :D I can't wait for their baby to be born! I hope it's soon! It's just too cute! :):):)

Aww, give the guy a break! Poor Jonny! Anyway, he's cut his hair since South America. It was pretty short when I saw him out at a gig London a month or so ago. He was looking really great!

You'll be pleased to know that Jonny's cut his hair since then! When I saw him at the gig a few weeks back he had it much shorter - and much better!!!!!! :P:P

:laugh3::laugh3: I agree... this is one of those media things where they take one vague comment and turn it into something huge. The website said itself that all it related to is a 'vibrancy' and 'colourfulness', which pretty much could mean anything and relate to any sound. It doesn't mean that the album will have any actual traditional spanish or south american sound to it. This is just the same as when they reported that the band were all arguing and as a result had scrapped all their material. That was a total exaggeration of a report that the being in the studio for hours on end could at times be stressful and tense. People shouldn't worrying - the media exaggerate everything! :)

Don't worry - their studio wouldn't be flooded. Hampstead is on the top of a hill and not next to the Thames or any rivers. He said they were doing vocals there, so maybe they have been doing the rest of the instrumental stuff in their studio. They were also spotted recently (not by me) outside Air Studios in Hampstead, so I guess they must be recording bits all over the place. Maybe Spain was just a nice change of scene - a little working holiday! :)

But this is what I mean - I don't doubt you've seen him in all of these, but that doesn't mean that he owns them all. In the same way that just because he's flown in private jets doesn't automatically mean he owns one or uses one everytime he flies. All of these kind of accusations are based on assumptions, not fact. We have absolutely no idea how many cars Chris Martin actually owns, how many times in reality he has actually flown a private jet. I don't really want to argue over how many cars/jets he owns, as it is pointless and doesn't make the tiniest bit of difference to climate change issues. All I think is that promoting awareness on climate change should be based on promoting the facts, not on villifying individuals. Writing articles based on the latter is just poor and lazy reporting.

Wow - that is a little scary! I thought I was a bit of a mad fan... :confused: :P I somehow doubt he actually OWNS all those... I think perhaps we ought to give the guy a bit of a break. What's he supposed to do if someone offers him a ride in their non-electric car? Say 'no thanks, I'll walk the ten miles with the paps...' Then again, given he owns a fleet of private jets for his daily use, I guess five cars per city is probably nothing ;) :laugh3:

The way people are talking about Chris and private jets sounds like he uses one all the time! He doesn't OWN one! The whole band hired one for part of their tour last year... that doesn't mean he flies like that all the time :laugh3: And just for the record, in London they also own a Prius - the hybrid car - so maybe he's not always quite the big bad environmental ogre as he's being painted out to be! Whilst I do believe strongly that everyone should be making an effort to cut down on emissions, I don't think singling out and criticising indviduals is the best way to educate or encourage people to make lifestyle changes. In fact, I think it just removes from the important points that the author is trying to get accross. All I see when I read this type of article is a bunch of celebrity names being thrown in to hype up an issue that really has nothing to do with celebrity at all. I'd rather just get the facts, not a personal hit-list of who the author doesn't like based on what they've read in tabloids.

He was tall but not too tall - maybe 6 ft 4 or around that. Nice height for a man. I'm still buzzing that I finally got to see him! :D

I am so happy!!!!! I saw Jonny at the Albert Hammond Junior gig at ULU last night! :D:D:D:D:D:D He looked gorgeous! He's cut his hair since the South American tour. Was still wearing a hat as usual! He still had a beard and moustache. He looked really great! He seemed really nice, chatting to people who came up to him although he looked kind of embarrassed. Some guy had his picture taken with him. Was GUTTED not to have my camera... IDIOT! :( Didn't see the other boys. He was there with his girlfriend who was very pretty with long dark hair and she was pregnant! :shocked2: :stunned: Am I the only one who didn't know that? Didn't notice straight away as they were in the crowd and she was wearing a quite loose top. But she definitely had a bump and Jonny stood behind her for most of the gig with his hands rested on her tummy. It was really cute! After the gig they disappeared backstage so I guess they must know the band. The gig was wicked! They played a mix of old stuff of the album and some new stuff I hadn't heard. At the end a group of fans lept on stage and started dancing around with the band. Did anyone else go? My friend said she saw Kirsten Dunst so I'm guessing Razorlight might have been there, but I didn't see them.

I haven't read all the pages of comments, but generally a lot of them seem a bit unfair on Chris. Of course the guy has changed - he's not a teenager anymore! But I'd be more worried if he was still going on like a teenager... When they started out he was naive and young, so yes, he probably seemed more open and easy going during interviews. But it is his openness that also made him a target for the media, who have been pretty cruel at times about him and his family. Imagine how horrible that must have been. No wonder the media, and even the intrusion into his personal life by his fans, have made him more cautions and guarded. As a guenuine fan, I have waited places to get their autograph, only to find loads of e-bayers waiting for autographs purely to make profit - people who don't even know anything about the band or the boys. Imagine how they must feel about things like that. No wonder they are not so open to fans anymore. That sort of thing is not their fault. They can't be blamed for becoming popular. When it comes down to it, all our comments on their personalities and how they have supossedly changed are based on complete speculation. We all think we know - or knew - these boys so well, but we don't. We are simply going by what we read and the bit of interviews that other people have chosen to report, which isn't usually the whole story. The only difference now is that the media are painting a different picture of him, and it is not one that you all like as much. We ASSUME he didn't go to bars and have a drink or two when he was younger, but really, I bet you any amount of money he was down the pub just like any other university student. We assume he feels differently about his fans, but maybe he just is no longer able to show it in the same way, due to people taking advantage of his openness. We assume he cares about money more, but maybe he just wants to look after his family... It's all assumptions. We should stop making assumptions about Chris' personality - it's assumptions and comments like that that make him more guarded and less likely to open up to people and his fans...

Helena came to the opening of the Jezebell shop ages ago, so it might just be that they are just good friends. The source is the Daily Mail (horrible tabloid newspaper) so it's quite likely just a bit of gossip! Also it says they were out with Chris and Gwyneth, which seems a bit unlikely as Gwyenth is in LA at the moment doing her film... But somehow I have this feeling that maybe there is some truth in this... :wink3: Helena is very beautiful and talented (she's a photographer as well as owns shops/models) and apparently very intelligent - so who could blame him! But if it is I just hope they don't start hounding them and leave them to it... it would be hard for him to suddenly be in the media eye.

I think she's very pretty but I wasn't sure about being natural... I always wondered if she'd got her lips done... :confused: But note that's NOT based on ANYTHING that I have read or heard - just wondered as they are so pouty! (lucky her!)
