I agree too. So what if they do it and even if it's for some money. They give their fans so much for free like CD's after concerts, they do charity gigs, put lots of stuff on their website for fans like Christmas messages, not to mention all the amazing charity stuff they do and never make a public fuss about. Let them have fun doing a gig with friends and make some money. Who knows, some of that money might be funding something important like their studio or the next freebie for us. And if it's not and just going into their pockets for their families then good for them too.

Wavy hair! He looks so young! I'm guessing you added the ears and he wasn't actually wearing them for the photoshoot?! :P He looks good in the recent one. He's toned up and lost weight. Chris must have been on at them again about getting in shape for the next tour!

Aww I love that one! They look so cute together and I love how Jonny is cracking up laughing :P That photo was from their charity page for a homeless shelter. It's pretty cool they did donations rather than wedding presents. I guess when you're a rock star you probably have everything you need already!

Me too, especially now they are not touring and there isn't much or any Jonny news... whenever I come here he's disappeared onto page 2 :cry: Her tweets were a nice way to have a little tiny bit of news about him and she photographed cool things and places too. Boo to whoever or whatever made her stop tweeting! :angry: This next year with no album or tour is going to be hard on this thread!!!

Wow is there anything that Guy doesn't do!:lol: Musician, photographer, music producer, antiques... I guess he likes to be busy! I'm guessing the Sun must be slow on gossip today if that made it into the paper. Good publicity for the shop though!

Err well okay. Whatever you want to do is up to you. Fair enough if you don't like the musi or band anymore. It's no big deal to me, or probably anyone here to be honest. I don't feel the same way you do but it doesn't get my back up - what you do is no one's business but yours. Good luck with whatever you do :)

It is a shame though as her pictures were great and would have been nice to have little updates when everything has gone quiet off tour. Someone said her facebook has gone too which makes me wonder if someone suddenly started hassling her or something bad. It was so sudden and she hadn't minded the requests or comments about her photos until then - none of the comments were stalkerish or mean. Sadly I think it was probably someone going too far and she wanted to protect herself and her family, which is perfectly understandable and the only thing she could do I guess... Hope that's not the case but the facebook thing makes me think that... :( Darn, why do people have to ruin a good thing?!

I don't we can blame her for the paparazzi pictures. She's not exactly posing for them. She can't help them being taken. Like the ones of them in Australia - the didn't even know they were being taken. She never looks pleased to be papped. If she wanted attention she'd be smiling and posing for the cameras so she looked her best. The only reason the ones of Violet were posted online was that the stupid gossip site thought she was Apple (how?! :confused:) I kind of expected more pap and fan photos of the family. I was thinking how well they've kept private while on tour... I don't think there have been any articles about her? Only that one interview she did for her friends blog, and that wasn't exactly for anything famous. The only reason we know about it was fans searching her name. The Sun covered their wedding but they didn't choose that and it was after it happened. If she'd really wanted attention she would have tweeted about her wedding as that would have got her the most attention and had paps there on the day. There are no photos of her wedding. I think she's been pretty good about NOT promoting herself. She's a coldplay wife - she could get interviews with loads of magazines. I bet she could get people to photograph her house like Joanna and Gwyneth, but she hasn't done any magazines or newspapers. Nothing that is in the wide public eye or media. She twitters but I don't think that makes her a bad person. Loads of people do it. Now she has lots of coldplay fans following her she tweets less frequently and less about her family life and she only tweets violet from the back of her head. The only reason we know a lot about her is that people on here do internet searches on her name (that's not a criticism). If they didn't we wouldn't know about her twitter or her blog interview. I always seem to end up defending her, but as a Jonny fan I feel like he must have married and hada baby with her because she was a good person - I trust his judgement! :)

I prefer him with thinning hair than with that big bushy hair he had on the last tour. I like the pornstache, but the long hair was the only time I've not liked the way he looks (ashamed! :() I say embrace the thin hair - we love you with or without it!! :D:laugh3: Thanks everyone for posting the pics. I vaguely remember that his parents were teachers? But I don't remember the source so can't be sure. His mum did a little interview with a Welsh local newspaper a year or two ago about Jonny so her name is probably mentioned in that. I think it was before one of the London concerts. I'll see if I can find it for you... I have no idea about his dad's name... and I thought I knew everything about Jonny!!:P

Wow hope this doesn't end up with the how being cancelled :( Sorry for everyone who has tickets... Hopefully it will all be resolved. They shouldn't have let bands book dates there if this was a long standing problem - it's not fair on people buying tickets or the bands who are making arrangements to play there. Is there another stadium of similar size that they could play at if shows are suspended?

When she did that interview for her friend's blog she answered that the three things she loves the most about him were "He's very kind, intelligent and has the ability to make everyone around him smile". That's pretty spot on - they are his best qualities ... along with guitar playing of course! :P
