  1. I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but the coldplay.com forum seems to have been suspended for maintenance... until August! It's an EMI message, which is a bit weird. Anyone else get this message when they click to view the forum? There isn't any announcment on the front pages of the site, and August seems a very long time for maintenance, so I thought maybe it was a glitch? Maybe it's to get rid of all the annoying spam they seem to constantly get on there - there's more spam on coldplay.com than messages these days... :veryangry:
  2. These ones are lovely - he looks really cute!
  3. I think you can also go online to BBC Radio website (radio one) and re-listen to a recording of the show after it is finished. You can probably download it too...
  4. :laugh3: He'll probably get a little telling off for that!
  5. I love Simon Pegg - he's hilarious! I'm sitting here giggling away! The music has been good too :)
  6. Will Buckland? :laugh3: :laugh3:
  7. Tom, you've 'discussed' this over and over again and lots of people have given their view, agreeing and disagreeing with you. The point of disussion and debate is that you actually LISTEN to other people's points and accept that sometime people can have different views to you, and it doesn't mean they are stupid people. All you have done since you got on this board is preach - not debate. There is a BIG difference. Perhaps you should think about they way you argue you points, as it's not winning you any respect. I disagreed - but respected - your opinion when you first raised your concerns, but now I just think you're just trying to be smug... The owner of the site has given his view on the matter and, as a visitor to their site, you should respect their final decision and accept that people have different views. Or find another Coldplay site that shares your view... or find something new to go on about... :\
  8. Tom, I didn't used to post much in the Gywneth threads, but you make me want to keep posting! It must be the reality you inject into the thread that keeps me coming back for more! ;) :P
  9. I don't think anyone here is particularly upset that it is Apple that is singled out - I think it's just the principle of saying negative things about anyones children in the press... The reason everyone thinks it is inappropriate is that people shouldn't pick on any little babies... celebrity or not!
  10. :laugh3: :laugh3: Keeping it alive he certainly is! Whatever you say to dear old Tom, he always comes back and give his 'you're all terrible people' lecture all over again - it actually gets funny after a while! Sometimes I wonder if he actually likes the band, or whether he just likes a good moan! ;) :P
  11. I am kind of shocked to read something like that in the Daily Telegraph - which is supposed to be one of our 'quality' broadsheet newspapers... I realise he's 'trying' to be funny but it is actually a pretty terrible thing to write about a small child. A newspaper like that really shouldn't be promoting anything that refers to hating a young child. These newspaper columnists usually give an email address for responses to their articles and this is the first time I actually feel like writing in and saying how unacceptable what he has written is! And it's not just that it is Apple - no one's small children should be the subject of that kind of adult 'humour'. I bet he'd be angry if anyone said that about his kids or the kids of someone he knows...

Cute pic. Don't think I've seen it before. They look so young! :D
  13. Tom - you've aired your views over and over again. Everyone knows what you think. It's up to the moderators and owner of the site to decide what gets moved and what doesn't. For now, if you don't like this thread, don't post in it. All you're doing by repeatedly posting about your dislike for this thread is keeping it at the top of the list! :P
  14. This whole things is crazy - a while back the press reported she'd said how dirty and terrible the UK was and how much she preferred the US... I wish the media would just make up their minds which way round! It's all just media hype - twisted words into something sensational, so everyone would get up in arms, as they have. The supposed 'quote' about preferring UK company was from a Portuguese newspaper, who didn't even interview her. They took something she said in Spanish at a press conference and twisted it into something more interesting - or at least more sensational. I can't believe people are so bothered - it's just the media doing what they are best at!
  15. Gwyneth didn't have an eating disorder... at least I don't remember anything like that being mentioned anywhere  She followed a microbiotic diet for a long time (not anymore), but that's not an eating disorder. The diet limits the types of food you eat e.g. no red meat, wheat or dairy, but you still eat regular meals! If followed correctly, it is a pretty healthy diet.
  16. Isn't there a nice one of Will lying down on the sofa with a CD in his hand and of Guy looking in the mirror and also one of him walking down the corridor to go on stage? I remember those being really good photos when someone posted them... Does anyone have the ones of Jonny that are in there - I'm not sure I've seen them...
  17. Hummm, yes - just looked at the links from BusyBeeburns. It's a little funny that you had one in 2004 and now another of these very rare signed CD's in 2006... you must have a very very good supplier!! :laugh3: ;)
  18. Jonny's signiture looks a bit weird on that one... Where /when did you get it signed?
  19. Tom, my friendliness is actually genuine. I have nothing against you at all and I totally respect your view. I just like a good debate! What is great about this forum is that people can debate things and still stay friendly and once it's over, no one holds any grudges :) But I do agree with Alyssa. This should end here. Or at least, if you want to carry on lets do it by PM, so poor Alyssa and everyone doesn't have to listen to it! :P ;)
  20. i didn't know that clocks was about death either... :stunned: I'll have to go and listen to it again... Interesting, as it is a very different take on it than other songs about death e.g. fix you.
  21. well, it kinda did, but thanks for saying that. Ironically, just so you know, i have probably posted in the Gwyneth thread less than even you. In fact, this debate is the most posts I've ever done in here. And for the record, I've never posted anything bad about Guy's wife's appearance and never obsessed over or critsised any of them. I just believe that each people should be free to post what they want, as long as it is not rude or offensive. Okay, so lets go back to appreciating what we have in common... the boys and their music :)
  22. It must be really great to have been there. You're lucky they recorded your show. Where were you seated? I can't wait to see it!
  23. I get that too... it might be symbolic. I seem to remember it is quite a new thing. It's funny if they did it for that reason - it was such a bad name!! :laugh3: :laugh3:
  24. I don't think Jonna would think that it was that funny to have the way she dresses taken the piss out of by people who have never met her. I seem to remember people were pretty mean about her appearance. I would say 99% of people in the Gwyneth thread are very positive about her. Being mean about someone - for a 'joke' or otherwise - is worse, in my book... Perhaps, you should be less judgemental of others, seeing as you were in exactly the same place a while ago. Changing you view on something does give you the automatic right to preach to those who didn't change with you.
