Coldplay's Viva-Jet™
Wow - I just clicked on the link to see the Flickr page and that guy is a true plane-spotter... literally. I'm not sure it's Coldplay he was interested in, just their set of wings! No 'Viva' this time - must be more cutbacks!

Bummer - she would have loved it. Security at the venues are always jobs-worths

New SONiC Radio Interview With Guy
He seems so upbeat and chatty! Good interview. He says he doesn't drink as much on tour anymore... what?! Was this really Guy Berryman being interviewed?!?!

Chris and Jonny
Haha - took me a few moments to get what you meant by that! :P Then I spotted her. I guess that's who Jonny was blowing kisses at during the show  Cute!

Coldplay's Martin thankful for job
The press have been so great to them on this tour - every review has been glowing! It's really good to see them finally getting the praise they deserve after so much bashing for the past few years. Haha - maybe it's 'cool' to like Coldplay again! :laugh3:

Coldplay's Viva-Jet™
When people hear they sometimes use a private jet I think they envisage something fancy and posh with just the four of them in the whole plane - but it's definitely more economy!!! :laugh3:

Jonny & Will at 'Little Joy' gig, Austin Texas
After Guy's twitter last night, I found a photo of Will and Jonny at the 'Little Joy' gig on this guy's Flickr blog! Hope the link works. Couldn't copy the photo. It's a great pic!

It's Jonny's fiancee now! They got engaged - not sure when. Definitely a ring on Phil's finger - that must be quite recent. Soooo sweet. No wonder he's been absent on the tour for a while!! ;)

How funny - I can just imagine the guy at the hotel reception hearing a little alarm go off on his computer and saying to his colleague 'Oh dear, the lady in room 524 is looking up porn on the internet again... better go up and have a word...' :laugh3:

I'm not sure how it works, but as a mod if you feel something is inappropriate is there a way you can sort of 'block it out'? Or certain very graphic words that you can block out so they won't post? I'm not very good with technical stuff!! Or maybe give a warning to the person posting them to avoid being so graphic or risk being excluded from the site? I don't care if you do or don't - I don't think the comments are necessary yet they don't personally bother me as I just ignore them, but if as a mod you think they cross the boundary of the forum rules can you do anything about them? I think it's really important that people should be free able to give their opinion even if lots of people disagree as that is the point of a public forum. But I agree there is a point at which it can be overstepped and I think it should be you mods and the site owner that get the final say. So whatever you guys think is fine with me.

Whilst I agree this forum can get a little boy-crazy sometimes, which I don't always agree with, I accept that if you go to a public web forum you've got to be prepared to listen to things that you don't necessarily like or agree with. It's up to the moderators/owner of the site to decide what is 'inappropriate' and deal with it. That is what they are there for. If you don't like a thread's contents then don't come on or avoid the ones you know are going to be 'that way' e.g the 'Gorgeous Chris' or 'Hot Guy' type threads. You can stick to the more music-orientated ones, if you just want that kind of discussion. Even better - start some new threads to discuss what you want to talk about and make it clear that you don't want to include sexual-natured comments. There is the option to report a post to the moderator if you really feel that it is offensive, otherwise I think people have to accept that other people have the right to say what they want within the general forum rules. We can keep debating this, but in the end it's up to the moderators so there is really no point creating more threads about it.

Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
Well good for Guy if he's found a nice girl... he has seemed really happy recently. The way I see it is, the happier he is the more sexy smiles he'll give us and the nicer he'll be when he meets his fans... that can't be a bad thing! ;)

The Official Phil is Hot thread (now known as the greet Phil thread :P)
Big congrats to Phil for getting married! He was photographed by Angie wearing a wedding ring (see her close up photo above) so congrats to him and his new wife! Really sweet! I guess that's why he has only just appeared on tour - he's been busy getting hitched!! :)

Backstage Pass
I think the only way to get backstage (other than to try and run passed Jackie!) is to win a competition through a radio station or something like that. Or know someone who knows the band or works with them... You can't buy them anyway, if that is what you were after. Sorry...

Ahh - hadn't spotted that. I just got all excited that they were changing the set list! Boo!:(

American Summer Tour Setlist?
Someone in the Detroit thread just twittered from the show that they were playing 'Talk'. So maybe there are a few changes? Would be nice! EDIT - Oh - I just noticed on the setlist that they do it as a techno version... sorry. Being blind!

'Talk' hasn't been on the recent set list has it? Have they changed the set list suddenly?

Time that the concert is over at...
If it's an outdoor show they quite often have curfews due to noise pollution, so are stricter about finishing on time. People who have been to/going to shows have been posting that start times seems to have been pushed forward to around 7pm (from 7:30) for the warm up bands. My guess would be Coldplay finishing around 11... but best to contact the venue to ask about the noise curfew to be sure.
