Although I don't really go to highschool anymore, I do teach at one and I have to say that school has never been more depressing. Over the summer, our school has had two students pass away, a student currently in the hospital, and another student who lost a parent. Everyone at the school has been affected in some way. It's hard to see everyones sad faces when walking down the halls. :(

I'm afraid of going down escalators. I have this fear that I'm going to fall down them. That's why I always take the stairs :cool: SQ

I like his hair when it's short but it looks funny because this haircut reminds me of the Parachutes/AROBTTH era but instead he's dancing around in their customized military clothing.

Yeah Dubai has definitely changed from the last time I went there. It's gotten so much more high tech. Apparently they have a road now. Jumairah Road I think is the name? Anyways, they charge you for just driving on the road. You buy some card or something and you put it on your car and a laser flashses on the card and charges you an amount. The road is like godlike, so that's why they're charging you. And some interesting stories... He told me about this safari that they went on. It was the best thing he's ever done in his life. Oh, and they also went to an indoor skiing place.. That was pretty cool as well. They went to Wild Wahdi ( it's a waterpark) and other places. They've got some nice pictures actually...

I haven't done any travelling this summer but my brother in laws came back from Dubai the other day and they were telling me all these crazy stories about the place. Took some awesome pictures as well :cool:

I'm not arabic but my husband has family from UAE and my brother in laws just came back from Dubai and all I have to say is WOW. That place looks amazing. They were telling me about how they went on a safari and like everything like that. I put a picture of it as my avatar actually. It's breathtaking. Anyways, just wanted to say that... M'aa alsalama! ( I hope I said that right :) )

I have never listened to a single song of Jason Mraz but i'll be attending one of his concerts in November. Not for him though, for Lisa Hannigan. She's awesome! I was wondering if he's worth sticking around for the rest of the night.

I don't think I could ever get sick of watching Friends. I just watched the episode where Mona and Ross almost send out holiday greeting cards. The conversation they have at the coffee place is hilarious! :lol:
