For Coldplay section's chatterers !
I'm sorry... 3 friends just called me for weekend plans at the same time... :D Hehe Sarah, I will do it, I promise! Kara, Maximo Park... wow I would like to see them again! It was definitely a highlight at Hurricane Festival, not only it was minutes after midnight. Maybe we can meet all in London, together with Ophélie. I guess her English pronounciation is much better than mine. :P Marek, Helga is a female German name and a lot of people at festivals are shouting this name without any meaning. It's like "Bollocks" (?) in the UK. ;)

Hehe Sarah, when we all met up in Bremen at the end of July I thought that maybe Felix and you would become a couple. ;) Felix, hehe the place where Richard Ashcroft should have sung... ^^ I still think about going to Madsen but I don't know how to come back to Bremen then. The train line is very bad. Kara, I'm fine thanks! There are so many concerts during the following months and I also plan a trip to my lovely Berlin again. I want to visit some areas to watch out where I could live in 2 years. I'm also excited about the flight, hope everything's going fine. The flight (Bremen-London-Bremen) still costs 40 Euro. :) But I only have time on exactly that weekend now. The weekend before I have a christmas party with my work-mates and the weekend after December 1st I can't take a holiday. Did you already met Ophélie or Steph again?

Hehe Felix, you can take a joint after shopping! :P What's going on in Hamburg? Are you excited about going to Madsen on Tuesday? One of my mates tries to persuade me to see Madsen as well... :) Hey Kara! I'm so jealous... Hope your uni life is great. Yesterday my parents booked a flight to London between November 1st and 4th! It will be the first time that my parents are going to UK. :D But their English is good. ^^ I always told them how amazing London is. :wink3: It's also as good as sure that I will fly to London on December 1st. Next week I will book the flight, maybe together with another mate. :)

Hey Mark! On Monday I have holiday and on Tuesday there is national holiday (Germany's reunification in 1990 ;)) so I guess tons of German people are conquering the Netherlands, only to go shopping! It's the same every year! Maybe I will drive with the car to Groningen or Amsterdam on Monday. :) I'm fine Marek, how are you? Hey Sarah and Felix! :)

Oh really? You mean "All I Can Do"? I didn't know the story of this song. That's very sad! :( Anyway thanks for the information. I'm hoping for some Kane gigs in Germany. :)

The official "UEFA Champions League 2006-2007" thread
I agree! The atmosphere in the stadium was absolutely amazing and Werder played very good. Barcelona didn't has a chance last night but well... that's the difference between a former Champions League winner and a team who doesn't have enough money to buy good football stars... they always get the result they want to have. After the 1:1 I was so disappointed and I drank a lot afterwards in the city, but today I'm only incredibly proud of my team. :)

I listened to your song called "Stay" but is it possible that it's only a live version of "The Second You Sleep"?

Today is the day! I will be in the Weserstadion to watch Werder Bremen - Fc Barcelona and I'm sooo excited! Really can't wait to see Ronaldinho and Klose. :nice: I guess it will be very hard for Werder, because they haven't won the last 5 games. But we'll see... maybe today! :P

The Fray
The Fray are in Germany at the moment and they were just at N-Joy this evening! It was a great interview! They talked about how it is to be compared with Coldplay, how life's going in Denver and other things. All members were very smart. The best thing came at the end... They are touring through Germany at the begin of 2007 including one concert in Hamburg. :nice: I will definitely go to it. I guess and I really hope that they're getting big in Germany. I often listen to "Over My Head" on the radio now and it's this week's best song on Pro7. :)

No, unfortunately I don't have this song. It's not on one of both records, isn't it? Hm, really? I know a lot of people who are spending holidays in the Netherlands. ;)

Kane
Thanks for the videos! I like the one of "Something To Say". "All I Can Do", which is a very good romantic song, reminds me a bit of Coldplay's UK version of "Trouble".

Myspace Links
There is very good German band called "Trashmonkeys" on myspace as well. They're from Bremen where I'm still living and I'm going to see them in November in Oldenburg. :) http://www.myspace.com/trashmonkeys I'm addicted to "Attitudes In Stereo" :nice:

Magnetic train crashes in Germany
It's already put on ice a few years before yesterday's accident! The main reason is that it's too expensive. That's why Siemens only built up a magnetic train line in Shanghai, China. Yesterday there were so many special news on TV, only about this topic. It's the worst train accident in Germany since the tragedy in Eschede (also near Bremen) in 1998 when an ICE derailed and killed more than 100 people.

I think I just found Flevoland on the map! :) "The Day After Tomorrow" is amazing! Thanks for posting the news about Saybia.

Kane
Ah, a thread about Kane! It's my favourite Dutch band and they're nomited for best Dutch Band at this year's MTV EMA 2006. ;) One year ago I heard "Fearless" on the radio and you're right... it's a great song! Then I bought both albums and I don't regret it. "Rain Down Over Me", "Can You Handle Me" and "Something To Say" are my other favourite songs. ;)

Magnetic train crashes in Germany
That's really a tragedy and I was shocked when I heard of the accident on the radio for the first time. It's not far away from Bremen and I sat in exactly the same train one year ago. I always thought it would be safe and it was a nice experiment to drive with over 400kmh through the landscape. They wanted to build a magnetic train line from Amsterdam over Groningen and Oldenburg to Hamburg, from Hamburg to Berlin and finally from Munich city to Munich airport.

Flevoland? Is it between Rotterdam and Utrecht? "The Day After Tomorrow" is really good! Do you know when they're going to release a new record?
