I would say the most popular songs of Mando Diao are "God Knows" and "Down In The Past". These songs are on their second record called "Hurricane Bar". But I can really recommend their new album "Ode To Ochrasy" (with f.e. "Long Before Rock'n'Roll). Personally it's the best CD I've bought this year. ;)

After the tsunami catastrophe in Asia a lot of musicians in Germany (for example Kai Wingenfelder (Fury In The Slaughterhouse)) came together to create a charity CD. One song of it is called "No Place Like Home". I bought this song on iTunes after listening to it on the radio and seeing the name of the project once on the shirt of Werder Bremen. I like it and IMO it sounds similar to "In My Place". Maybe it was exactly this song you mean. Yesterday evening I watched the comedy show TV Total and suddenly the band there played Coldplay's Talk before and after the commercial break. I was really very surprised and it sounded very good. :)

I watched Natascha's interview which was broadcasted on Austria TV-channel ORF2 and German RTL last evening. I'm very impressed of this young girl, because she was very brave. A few times she began to cry and I felt so sorry for her. She spoke very fluently and used a lot of difficult words like "Klaustrophobie" (claustrophobia), so I think she's well educated. I really hope one of her dreams will become true as soon as possible... to do a trip to Berlin, together with her sister.

I took this screenshot yesterday! It was a fantastic game! By the way, Germany hit the crossbar 3 times and Lehmann wasn't allowed to score the last goal... :P

Exciting TV evening... On another channel you could watch the first interview with Natascha Kampusch who was kidnapped by a crazy man for 8 years in Austria. :( What a brave young girl, I'm impressed!

When I went to school in Lower Saxony it was... Grundschule class 1-4 Orientierungsstufe class 5-6 Gymnasium class 7-10 Oberstufe class 11-13 Now, they have abolished the Orientierungsstufe, so Gymnasium starts after the 4th class. Stupid dicision in my opinion and Oberstufe doesn't have a 13th class since 2006... :dozey: Hey Therese and Julie! :)

Yeah weather was fantastic today. Of course, summer is coming back on Wednesday, you'll see! ;) Hm, I guess it's different in Hesse. I also went to a Gymnasium and here in Lower Saxony you were graduated after the 13th class. Oberstufe here means 11th, 12th and 13th class. Is it similar in Hesse?

:lol: So, how was your day Mark? It was very sunny and stormy today and that's why I was jogging again. Next week summer is definitely coming back to Germany. :D Can't wait for 30 degrees and going to the beach again. You're right! I'm extremely jealous of Steph and Ophélie, because I still have to wait 2 years when I will finish work. ;)
