  1. Thanks! Yeah, good idea! I have to drive at 8am. Good night!
  2. Hm, my holidays are not quite sure, but I think it will be between August 14th and 25th. I also haven't book a flight from Bremen to London and a hotel room (which is always the same near Hyde Park :nice:). So, a lot of question marks... ^^ I'm going to bed, too. It was a pleasure talking to you. :) I wish you a nice weekend! Bye!
  3. What a nice story! :nice: I remember the guy coming from Australia who stayed at the house of one of my friends. You must have seen his face when he saw snow for the first time in his life. It must be indescribable! Oh 12 pounds isn't very expensive, that's true. I really can imagine to fly back to London (and then Brighton) in August. The train starts at Waterloo station? Then it would be great to meet you, Steph and all the other people I just forgot, because I'm so tired. Btw, I haven't seen Nettie here for ages. Do you know why?
  4. Hehe, the Reichstag is a great building. But since the last 5 years the area around it completely changed. It's so incredible... every time I'm going to Berlin I see new buildings... :nice: Ah, you had a German student in your house? Are you still in contact with Ramona and did she live in West or East Berlin? :) :nice: I always wonder why so many people in UK are learning German in school. It's the most unimportant and difficult language in the world. Wow, that sounds nice! Hm, then I have to go to London and Brighton during my holiday. ;) Are there special and cheap trains which connect London and Brighton? Oh, I just read that Berlin is under water! There was an amazing thunderstorm this evening and a lot of tubes don't drive now. :stunned:
  5. Yeah, it was really a long day but it was only today, because some people have holidays. I also earn more money which is very good. ;) First we'll do another sight-seeing tour... we want to visit the Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, the new main railway station (Lehrter Bahnhof), some parts where the Wall is still standing, deviding West and East Berlin, Kurfürstendamm (with the church which was destroyed during World War II) and in the evening we are going to watch Germany-Portugal at one of the 8 screens in front of the Brandenburg Gate. It's so great, celebrating a football match with other people who come from other countries. Ah you're going out tomorrow. Do you have nice clubs in Brighton? I still haven't decide if I will spend some days in England or in Ireland in August. ;)
  6. Hehe, good idea to change the thread. ;) Oh that sounds boring... :( What are you doing tomorrow? Are you going to swim? :nice: My day was ok. I worked from 7am til 6pm, then some friends came and we wanted to make a barbecue but suddenly a heavy thunderstorm came and we went back to the idea to order some pizzas. :D I'm so excited about tomorrow. In 8 hours I will drive to Berlin again. :nice: Can't wait, because I'm so in love with the city. ^^ But first I will visit a good mate who's living in Magdeburg now. ;)
  7. Oh Kara, you're online! Hope your day was fine! :nice: What have you done?

Hehe, don't go into that London Dungeon building! It's very expensive and God, it was so bad! My friends and I got stuck in the boat lol. There was no electricity for 30 minutes and you couldn't see your hands in front of your eyes, because it was so dark there without lights. Later they helped us coming out of it, but we didn't get our money back! :veryangry:  But London is really one of the best places in Europe, although it's very very expensive. ;)
  9. I'm always winning at "Singstar" and I really don't know why... :D Ok, no one can beat me with Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" lol...
  11. The Hives - Walk Idiot Walk :nice:
:dozey:
  13. Hey A Whisper! Willkommen im Forum! Woher aus Deutschland kommst du denn genau? Vielleicht bist du ja auch ein Nordlicht... :nice:
  14. Coldplay - Warning Sign
  15. The most unimportant game of this World Cup, but anyway I will drive to Berlin's "Fanmeile" next morning again! :nice: I'm so exited... not about the game but to celebrate another World Cup match in my own country. ;)
  16. Lol? He absolutely did nothing! I have to mention Totti, because he is definitely the most female player in this World Cup!
  17. I wrote it already this morning to you in the German thread but again... Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag! :nice:
  18. I still remember what I did exactly on that day one year ago. It's the same with 9/11. :( All tv-channels here interrupted their regular programmes and Viva had a British flag in his logo the day after 7/7. It was amazing how good the citizens of London reacted after the attacks. They were so brave and continued to live without being worry.
Bin nun pennen, ciao! ;)
  21. Well I'm off people! I hope there will be a big thunderstorm tonight. ;) Good night to you all! Bye! ;)
  23. I remember that fat woman in the video of "Lolita" shouting something like "Tu étais où?"
  24. Flo, I will watch POTC but not tomorrow or next weekend, because I'm driving to Berlin again. So, maybe next week. What about you? Hehe Grace, when dou you have vacations in Hesse?
