Keane Red Hot Chili Peppers The Killers

I like Alanis a lot, but I'm not really into her anymore. I loved her in the 90's though... Jagged Little Pill is one of the best album's in recent history, and I think she continued to make great songs for awhile after that ("Uninvited" is my favorite Alanis song). As for now, I still respect her and give her new singles a chance,but they're so watered down now. Not bad, just not anything enough to interest me either. Her last single I really played a lot was "Hands Clean."

This is hard! I'd rank them like this though: 1. In My Place 2. The Scientist 3. Clocks 4. GPASOYF

blink 182 is great. I don't see how anyone can call them "kiddie rock." Anyone who thinks songs like "I Miss You" and "Adam's Song" sound like Good Charlotte or something like that must be tone deaf. I don't even get the comparisons.

I'll be so happy if "White Shadows" really is the next single.

I heard "Bullets" a couple of months ago and liked it a lot. I heard "Munich" for the first time over the weekend and I'm compltely blown away!!! I want their album but I'm feeling too cheap to import it right now, lol. Does anyone know when it's due out in the States?

I just got an awesome B-Side off iTunes... "Hero." Definitely recommend it. Does anyone know where I can download "The Present."? I read aboutit on another board, but I can't find it on iTunes or anywhere really.

I'm rooting for "White Shadows." That chorus is killer. I think it coud be their biggest hit to date, and I would love seeing a video for it.

I have his album and think it's great. He's the best new artist this year. I can totally see why his voice would annoy some people though, even though I like it.

One of my friends, who happens to be black, is big into Coldplay. She mostly listens to R&B, but in addition to Coldplay she's really into Maroon 5 and John Mayer. Also, you guys know the R&B singer Brandy? She samples "Clocks" on her most recent album and in another song named "I Tried," part of the lyrics are "I think I want to hear some Coldplay" and she goes on to sing a little bit of "Sparks." I thought the way she worked "Sparks" into her own song was awesome, and she gets points with me for the risk.

"Satellite" by BT is one of my favorites. Also, at the risk of sounding like a 60 year old, I think "Fragile" by Sting is excellent. I can chill out to a lot of stuff that's not even close to being "chill-out" technically speaking. One song that always relaxes me is "Love Of My Life" by Santana featuring Dave Matthews.

US radio follows the Hot 100 chart too closely to decide what it plays. That's a huge reason why "Talk" isn't getting a ton of video and airplay here yet. The Hot 100 is affected largely by digital downloads, so download "Talk" legally and you can help the song get higher on the charts (it's currently not in the Top 100 :( ) "Speed Of Sound" debuted at #8 on the US singles chart because everyone downloaded it. Now that everyone has the album, their second and third singles are suffering on the chart, and as a result, radio and the video channels. By the way, "Talk" is currently Top 10 at Alternative radio and still hasn't been released to Adult Top 40 and Pop radio.

I have and love Silent Alarm. Can anyone tell me if the remix album is worth buying? I'm always tempted but I kind of think it's a waste to buy the same album twice, in any form. If all the remixes are amazing though, that may be another story lol
