  3. Can I just say what a nice idea for a threaad this was!? Its really cool to read everyone's little stories! :nice: Encounter, eh? Angie :wink3: 1. First related Coldplay memory? Mine is pretty much the same as Angie's actually. I was watching MTV when I was like, 13 or something. Geeky guy walking on a beach. I thought there was something about him? like creepy kind of? Think it was his staring eyes. ahahaha. but I carried on watching. and enjoyed. 2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where? 14th December 2005, Earl's Court London - probably the most hyped I have EVER EVER EVER been for a gig. It was crazy. 11th June 2006, Isle of Wight Festival - crazy waiting experience at the barrier 16th June 2008, Brixton Academy - by fluke and very good luck I got a ticket :dead: 18th June 2008, BBC tv studio car park - unexpected ticket from the postman! 3.a Favorite Coldplay album? AROBTTH (then Parachutes) b. Favorite Coldplay song? Spies c. Favorite Coldplay video? Don't Panic or GPASUYF 4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection? Jonny's setlist from Brixton and this...... 5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.) The Isle of Wight festival was the craziest thing really. On the day they were playing, me, Steph and Nettie woke up at 7.30am (with hardly any sleep ), started queuing at the entrance gates to the fields leading to the stage. We waited there for 3 and a half hours and it was very hot. Then we had to run across four huge fields to get to the stage when it opened at 11am. When I got to the stage I was so tired! and another entrance for non-campers had been closer and they had got there first, not fair. Still I got my barrier spot. We had food supplies.... endured crappy morning bands... Lou Reed, etc. Jenny (Fudge) joined us. My other friend saved my spot so I could go to the loo once or twice. So yeah. We waited approximately 13 hours to see Coldplay from the front!! a bit mad really. :uhoh: It was the most beautiful evening though, with a sunset. I also dashed into London in the hope of meeting Chris outside Radio1 one evening in 2007, and waited in a pub nearby listening to the show with Steph on the radio on her phone...until he came out. and we met him :nice:
