  1. I only chew gum when my friend offers me some... Im a cheapskate
  2. Paranoid..... I went to my fave restaurant earlier for sushi :nice:... and some teriyaki chicken.. but the chicken wasn't cooked properly (I complained and didn't have to pay for it) :( Im worried I'm gonna wake up in the night and hurl. :bigcry:
  3. ^ W T F I saw this guy at Glasto and took a pic of him... heh.... his hair reminded me of Marge Simpson
  4. Thank you Rolle :) Yes, that is someone else you would know :nice:
  5. Me and my friends in the Pyramid Stage hill at Glastonbury
  6. PDA is possibly my favourite Interpol song <3
  7. Sneezy :(
  8. I really don't think it was meant to be anything too serious... just a bit of fun. He was horribly out of tune singing some bits  the rest of the show was fabulous.
  9. I wish I could see Daylight too :bigcry:
  10. I think the main thing setting us apart here is quite obviously age. You are against anything and everything that might be slightly out of the ordinary. You only harp on about radio friendly music, that never ventures over any kind of boundaries. Fair enough if you like that kind of music....that's your thing. I just don't see why you can't accept that music can change and be different. Jay Z has famous songs that you can sing along to by the way. He has the younger generations' support for sure, which may be why you hate him and his music.
  11. Yeah, actually. I'm with you. It WOULD be boring to have Coldplay headline again. Its so good to give other bands a chance. I can assure you that all the people I saw watching Neil Diamond were bored as hell until he played his most famous songs. *yawn*
  12. Mark, why don't you do everyone a favour and shut up now? You force your opinions on people way too much. and you weren't even THERE. Coldplay next year would be awesome. but the tickets would sell out too fast because everyone loves them :( I enjoyed the festival being of a lower key this year.....well, with bands that were not as popular. You could tell that the festival was full of people who were laid back and not just there for the hype of the 'buzz' bands last year... Neil Diamond was okay, average...boring....predictable.
  13. Some people eh. Too set in their ways to enjoy something slightly different! I love Jay Z mainly for his tunes & awesome beats/melodies, and singing along to the lyrics is also great. I had a talk to someone else about his lyrics being political sometimes but I don't mind. It's better than say, the Killers songs that are really good, but so so predictable lyrically. blah blah love blah blah something else. Jay Z's lyrics make you think about them. I don't mind if he had political messages to spread....no one is interested in politics today so if someone like him can give those messages to young people then it can only be a good thing I think. Anyway. I was there and it rocked. SO THERE! I wish you had been there with me Jen! It was great fun. He played 'Give it to me'....amazing tunage, heh. James, there were probably about 20 socks stalls or more. hahaha.
  14. I'm back!!!! and it was amazing..Glastonbury I love thee!!! I thought Jay Z was absolutely brilliant..I forgot how many songs of his I know... and it was awesome. He also didn't bring out any special guests which IMO was a very good idea. He proved he could do it. Well done Michael Eavis for bringing something different to Glastonbury that was awesome! Kings of Leon were also fantastic for me. Charmer and On Call, soooooooooo good. I saw Kate Nash, Yeasayer, Santogold, Editors, The Whip, Foals, Vampire Weekend (fan-fucking-tastic), Neil Diamond (LOL), Martha Wainwright, Goldfrapp, Fratellis (boring, predictable, shit).....and loads of others. Amy Winehouse was rubbish......forgetting words, blabbering on about Blakey and that punching incident. She should go away before it's too late. but of course, it's everything else (stalls, markets, workshops, the food stalls, circuses, quirky details everywhere) that makes it Glastonbury :)
  15. They played every song that I wanted to hear!!!!! PYRAMID SONG!!! CLIMBING UP THE WALLS!! EVERYTHING IN IT'S RIGHT PLACE!! AIRBAG!! HOW TO DISAPPEAR COMPLETELY!! just amaaaaaazing. only thing was that it was so hard to leave Victoria Park, that me and Steph missed our last train home and had to get a train back to mine at 4.30am :(
  16. Yeah, you're right. When I met Chris, there were only three of us....three fans... and it was after a radio interview at 21.30 so the only place he was probably going afterwards was home. I know it's him and he's a busy, busy person but I just thought since there was three of us he could have at least not acted as if we were mobbing him. Felt like he didn't listen to anything we said really, :\ He even asked paparazzi where they wanted him to stand for a photo... anyway...I'm digressing.
  17. *ahem* kind of true of when I met Chris.....
  18. I've met Chris only. Want to meet Jonny!!!
  19. Its totally unfair!! They need a seat plan with front row seats marked out for all of us lot. Better still places on the stages....heh. My ticket for London is 1st tier...average... my ticket for Birmingham is 2nd tier even though I paid the higher price! :( Im afraid I'm off to bed now!!! Take care...and WIN THOSE FECKING TICKETS ANGIE! :)
  20. She's come over with her friend to visit London and Brighton.... and thought she'd see RH at the same time! Yeah..Rolle, she went to Glasto last year with me and Steph  We should try and meet Mari! :) Another friend from this forum is also coming to live in England soon....haha! Its crazy. I feel like I should travel some places really. Oh sheeeeet Angie, buying tickets. Im always way over confident, like I thought there'd be standing no problems for the UK tour.... nope! :bigcry: and I end up with a seat up in the mountains!
  21. I soooo hope that RH play Pyramid Song. Did I mention that I'm going with Steph and Danielle (An_cat) from here?!!??! Yup Danielle got into England this morning  I wouldnt say no to feeling a bit of Buckland :cheesy:
  22. He isn't a surfer guy, but he is in Charlie's Angels and looks rather noice as a surfer dooode http://www.cs.adelaide.edu.au/~gaspar/rodrigoSantoro2.jpg http://pics.livejournal.com/geeuh/pic/0002q18p/s320x240
  23. but Mari! You got to meet Jonny!! I don't know what came over me last Monday...it would have been an easy way to meet him :( but I didn't, I was queuing. :\
  24. Woohoo!! What about Paranoid Android? or Pyramid Song?
  25. A disease called Jonny Buckland......? Oh! I had some bad cases of that last week! Waiting for emails. BLEUGH! sorry, brings back bad memories! GOOD LUCKKKK! Radiohead, playing at Victoria Park....a park...in East London. haha. I know SO many people going to it, it's crazy! I hope they play Everything In It's Right Place! You've seen em havn't you?
