  1. Mark, when you look at yourself in the mirror what do you see?
  2. I wish they didn't actually write stories. The headlines are hilarious then they get less funny the more you read.
  3. Mark you look like a tortoise without it's shell. Sorry, I'm just giving back what you randomly attack women for. Just because they can't respond back doesn't make it any more right.
  4. What is this? Will the next topic be on the mating habits of Blue Whales?
  5. Completely agree, that's why I just take no notice of them. I know some people though who agree with that statement but then sit and watch these award shows and get genuinely annoyed when their favourite band doesn't win an award.
  6. Yeah I thought I'd come to terms with it at college because everyone is older there and I kinda hate all the teenagers at the college, but I guess even there I'm amongst the youngest, I only know a couple who are younger than me. So it's just weird when people are talking about going to class in high school etc as that is such a distant memory to me. It brings back a lot of my anxiety about what the fuck I am doing with my life as well as memories of my depressive year, so overall it's a mix of emotions haha... What's this topic about so we can swiftly move on?
  7. It just means she is using a language script that you don't have installed on your computer so it can't read it.
  8. I am 20. 21 next month.
  9. I used to get really annoyed at people liking shit things, heck even a month or so ago I really would have, but I dunno I've noticed a drastic change in mentality inside myself recently and I just don't care anymore, if what people like makes them happy then that's good for them, it doesn't affect my life at all what they like and as long as they don't preach to me or tell me to watch it or try and criticise what I like to watch/listen to, telling me theirs is better then there's no issue. People don't seem to share my policy though and they often breach the outlines I just mentioned so that's why I tend to have a problem with people. What annoys me more is when people are so defensive and ridiculous about what they like that if you even mention that you don't like it they go into attack mode and start thinking of reasons why you wouldn't like it, maybe I listened to the wrong songs, maybe I watched the show in the wrong frame of mind, maybe I'm an idiot with no fucking taste, it's ridiculous. Accept that people like different things to you and enjoy what you like about the thing you were defending instead of worrying about what people think about you liking it.
  10. I just got depressed remembering how young most people are on here.
  11. Well yeah, I don't think you can possibly say one band is the "best" live band. Music is a pretty personal thing and it's more about what you get out of it than what is technically the best, you can't sit and tick off boxes about what makes a band good live. It's not just the music, it's the feel, the energy, the crowd, the atmposhere. A band can be technically brilliant live, but if they just stand there flawlessly playing the songs while the crowd stands around nodding pretentiously then it's not going to be the best live experience you've witnessed.
  12. I don't, just cos you are a big band doesn't mean you are any better live than a less popular one. One of my favourite gigs ever was Dutch Uncles and Dananananaykroyd in a tiny venue, it was so amazing, better than a lot of "big" bands I've seen, way better.
  13. You clearly don't understand what I was saying, so what's the point in arguing when you think you know what I'm saying but you don't? I never once mentioned popularity or obscurity.
  14. I can't be bothered to read that shit, what is the supposed problem with the BBC?
  15. Yeah Americans take any chance they can get to shout "U-S-A-U-S-A"
  16. Hahahaha wow, if you think I think like NME then you really have no idea about me, did they give Mew a bad review or something? I didn't say accessible is a bad thing, I was merely using that to back up my point about them being a band for people who don't normally listen to guitar music and why I see them as a band for teenage girls to obsess over and honestly your posts are doing nothing to disprove the obsessive fangirls part. Comparing Mew to The Beatles is absolutely hilarious as well, Mew have pretty much nothing to offer, imo.
  17. I couldn't be bothered to watch the video. The point of it isn't that you just list things and they are accepted, you have to have valid reasons, you have none.
  18. Boo fucking hoo, people like music you like what a disaster, HOW DARE THEY. Rejected. Avril, Celine and Sum 41 haven't made a song in years, avoid the charts if you hate popular music No valid reason.
  19. I don't get it. Paul Merton is awesome, I saw him do improv live, he's a funny man.
  20. That doesn't really answer my question though.
  21. Why is this even supposedly interesting?
  22. The NHS gave me it for free :nice:
