I first got into them cause I got this Smash Hits CD and it had Yellow on it and Secret Smile by Semisonic. I used to play those two songs over and over and then my Dad got me Parachutes. I didn't really become borderline obsessive until AROBTTH came out though, and heard the album so many times I had Coldplay dreams!

What If's just nothing compared to Shiver and In My Place. I've chosen Shiver because it's fecking amazing.

White Shadows sounds a little like Prince's When Doves Cry, especially the chorus ("Maybe you'll get what you wanted"/"Maybe I'm just like my mother") but I still love it regardless. How You See the World also sounds very Lennon/Beatles around the chorus, which is no bad thing, again, I love that song.

Ditto, all I had was the albums and some stuff from the EPs before I joined here, that was it. Now I have 144 Coldplay mp3s in my Coldplay Folder. Miiildly addicted to the multimedia section, lol. And it's not enough by a long shot!

4661 miles (7502 km) done from the next nearest city, Sheffield, because apparently where I live doesn't exist... So now not only am I really far away from Coldplay but I don't have a home, lol. This thread makes me so happy :lol:

Thankyou Steph! If anyone needs a reason why White Shadows should be the next single, they reaaaallly ought to watch that. They also should watch it if they need a reason why Will should have hair... :lol:

I think it's highly doubtful there'll be no piano, where have you heard this? I reckon they'll have a mix of all three of the above choices :D

Wish I did, I didn't realise 'til half way through that they were on :( It was about the time that X&Y came out, I think they did What If? and SOS as well. If anyone has it, that would be ace. I bet it's kicking round the Multimedia section somewhere but without the Search thingy I'm at a loss...
