i've figured it out. (no i haven't)

bush may be against gay marriage, but the truth is, even if we get a democrat in office (and you have no idea how much i'd love that, even if it were lieberman or gephardt), we're still many many years away from gay marriage in the united states. that issue is a bomb with a lit fuse, no democratic candidate is going to touch it with a ten foot pole, because almost half the people in the u.s. are still against it. (except for candidates who have no real chance of being elected, kucinich, sharpton, etc)

i think that show marks a new low for television. actually i haven't even watched it, but just the concept is enough to make me want to smash the next tv i see.

i like grandaddy's "revolution" and howie day's "help" but i don't really think anybody else did anything for the songs. if you're going to cover a beatles song, i think you have to do more than just play it adequately, you know?

also, as far as yellow submarine is concerned, i think it is both the worst song they ever wrote and the worst movie they ever made. (although i haven't seen let it be, which is more of a documentary anyway but that's supposed to be pretty bad)
