  1. ain't so secret no more :sneaky:
  2. hey, that was big expensive special effects in 1964 or whatever.
  3. BINGO! i figured this thread made no sense as it was, so i might as well make it make less sense.
  4. DANGER WILL ROBINSON! MY ARMS ARE FLAILING WILDLY!
  5. i usually only discover great lyrics in a song after i've already been listening to it for months or something.... so i guess i have to say music, which i guess could explain why i listen to a lot more instrumental music than most people (classical, jazz, or rock, it's all good). the way i see it, you can have shitty lyrics and still have a great song (coldplay excel at that) but i've never changed my mind about a song because the lyrics were great. i'll just say "yeah that song sucks but the lyrics are great." see how i always talk too much?
  6. OH, THE HORRORS!!! :P
  7. man, i would KILL to have boring meetings where i work. ah, to actually be inside, in a chair, with air conditioning, working with your brain and not with your back, and relatively clean (by which i mean not soaked with sweat and covered with a layer of dirt). you begin to appreciate the little things like that that make a job tolerable when you work for a construction company. only a couple more weeks for me though, then it's back off to school where i can change to my lazy slacker alter-ego. :D
  8. yeah, michael moore really isn't very good at making accurate films. in fact, he's almost as good as sensationalizing and stretching half-truths as the people who endlessly rail against him. that said, i can't think of a documentary he's done that i didn't think more people should watch after i saw it. he brings up a lot of good points, it's just a shame he has to lie and mislead to try to prove them, because he sacrifices a lot of credibility, and people who might otherwise take a step back and say "wait a minute, this isn't right" only say "HA! what a big fat liar!" once again i've managed not to say anything that hasn't been said already.
  9. my girlfriend, because she'd be pissed if i took anybody else. :P 2nd choice: monica bellucci. HOLY CHRIST she's hot.
  10. actually, now that i think about it, the reason the rest of my parents' computer wasn't fried is probably because they had a surge protector, but only for the computer, not the phone line.
  11. ah, the hell with it. i'll never remember that anyway. how about.... "LIFLAm" (from your screen name) because that is clearly easier to remember. fuck it. *votes for mandy poos*
  12. yeah i started a thread in the feedback thing awhile ago about that and everyone pretty much agreed that my computer was fucked up and that i should go fuck myself. well, at least the first part.
  13. i'm calling you "Dominic" from now on, whether you like it or not. :smug:
  14. my parents had their modem fried a couple years ago because they left the computer on during a storm. the rest of it was ok, i guess.
  15. man, i'd be pissed if i was working my groove-thang and people started yelling and flashing lights and whatnot. although i haven't had to do that in a car for awhile, so it doesn't really matter.
  16. better change the subject line, this show has nothing to do with camden. :P
  17. uh... is it the camden, new jersey tweeter center or the mansfield, massachusetts tweeter center? they're two different shows you're talking about there. *is too lazy to just click and find out* i was at the camden show :D
  18. well, i just got back from a radiohead concert, and the new songs were so great to see live that i had no choice but to put in "hail to the thief."
  19. haha damn i remember that song but i can't remember any of the lyrics either.
  20. yes, if by "rad" you mean "totally fucking shitty." :)
  21. because it wasn't canceled until everybody was in there and waiting for the opening band to take the stage, and the lord's thunderstorm of the century came by. then we got about 4 inches of rain in two hours, the stage sunk a foot into the ground, there was massive flooding, lightning set a tree on fire 500 yards from the grounds, and they eventually told us all to go home. :D
