all right, i live in pennsylvania but currently work on the new jersey turnpike, so every day i have to cross the river into new jersey. and the other day i finally looked at the gigantic "welcome" sign they have when you first get over there. it read: "Welcome to New Jersy!" talk about first impressions...

yeah, and there's no possible way i'm going to sit down and type out every cd i own... let's just say that from bach to brubeck to bjork to beck, i've got a little of everything (or a lot). :P

yeah, i always thought that having a chatroom at a message board that's as busy as this one was kind of pointless... at least here we can actually have coherent conversations about things, instead of the short snippets of nothing that make up most chatrooms i've been in. nope, i'm just not a chatroom guy. :D

jesus, if anybody here actually lives in california, for god's sake vote against the recall. the only reason the recall exists is to remove a horribly corrupt politician from office, not to yank a guy just because he's unpopular and has no charisma. forgive me for being the only person in the country other than cruz bustamante who's taking this seriously, but i'm afraid california may be setting a dangerous precedent, and that other states will follow every time a leader becomes unpopular (or at least the ones with a recall option), and soon the people who are supposed to be running our government will be completely powerless for fear of doing something that might provoke a recall. i'm sure i could articulate that much better when i'm not tired, but oh well.
