  7. I am sorry but this is late, I have been ill since, well I have been ill for a while but gotten worse since the Coldplay gig at the Etihad on the 9th! I shouldn't have gone really, I was freezing my ar*e off queueing up outside for hours, I've had a bad chest for some time. But this was a Coldplay gig, how could I miss it!!!??? So now I am having to pay the price of one of the best nights of my life. I was quite close to the stage, close enough to see their faces for once! I find it very nerve racking going to concerts as I go alone, but if I didn't go alone I wouldn't be going at all, no body in my life has any taste. So being in this stadium on my tod, sqeaky bum time! Doesn't help when people stare at you because you are on your own. Why don't you just smile and get on with what your doing and leave me alone? Concert was amazing from the second they walked out on stage till the second they disappeared at the end, I had the most amazing night, after the shittiest 18 months I have had, I took that as my reward! The fireworks, confetti, big balloons and wristbands were fantastic. I got lost in the music and the guys performance, I forgot myself and my troubles, I sang my heart out. Highlights of the night, 'major minus', 'charlie brown' and finally hearing 'warning sign' sung live! I nearly cryed. This was my 4th time seeing the lads, and each time they just get better and better. If money were no object I would go to see them more, unfortunatly I have only a part time job, so I already spend too much on the lads for my budget. But for the joy they bring into my life, they are worth every penny. (when I put my jacket on the next day, 4 heart shaped pieces of confetti fell out from my hood, I couldn't help but smile!)

  14. my personal opinion I think casting a new Doctor Who is more of a big deal than James Bond, though I am a huge fan of them both, so both are a huge deal to me! When it was announced that Matt Smith was the 11th doctor it was in a tv special for Doctor who, gets put in papers and on news programmes, when its a new casting for James Bond it gets put on the news or in the papers but they don't make the announcement on a tv show!
  15. only listened to it once, sounds average to me, but at least its not PS! I hope it grows on me, I don't want to give up on Keane. Though at one point I think I was!
  16. I'm old, but if I could afford to go back to study I'd love to do something to do with crime, god knows I've watched enough of the Crime channels on sky tv to know something!
  17. I don't care, I don't like him, and thats my opinion.
  18. I have noticed as I have got older that people are nastier to each other than when I was a kid. I know far more people now who are only good to you for something in return, nobody does anyone favours anymore unless theres something in it for them, I always say that I never got anywhere in life because I am not willing to kiss ass! If you try for jobs, in my experience of it anyway, its not what you know, its who you know. Doesn't matter if you cannot do the job at all, but if someone puts in a good word for you or something like that you will get the job over anyone who is not connected and just has the knowledge/experience. Everyone is out for themselves these days, its very sad and thats how I feel, I wish I didn't.
  19. I used to love Keane but after their last album I lost interest, so I don't know how to feel about the new album, I am intreged to hear it though and I hope one day they would return to the old sound from 'hopes and fears'. (I don't like the fact they have made that jesse a full time member by the look of it)
  20. I watched 'Homeland', second episode last night, I am bewildered to why people are raving about it, so far I am quite bored!!! I don't like Claire Daines carn't understand why she keeps winning awards, I do want to like Damian Lewis but I just don't though I do think hes a good actor. I'll give it a couple more episodes to see if it improves but '24' it ain't!!!!! I apsolutely loved that show. Its an insult to say 'Homeland' is the new '24'.
  21. bacon, that nutella is vile!
  22. whenever I think of going to see Coldplay in June, cheers me up esp. with things as they are at the moment.
