There is still plenty of time in North America. The thing is....if it was something big, like, say, a single, it would have happened already. I think what we should be concentrating on is WHEN we WILL get this new stuff (single and/or big news), because that article isn't speculation or rumor. It's DAVE. SAYING categorically that something big was going to go down, on the 21st. Perhaps the date changed, but I find the idea that there is no longer anything big to announce unlikely. you know?

Any news from the front? single? big marketing campaign? oh, we're spoiled aren't we?

For some reason, I don't ever want to hear what Timbaland and Coldplay had planned. I feel there must have been a reason that they didn't end up working together, and it was that Timbaland was totally TIMBALANDING the Coldplay sound. I mean....I live in North America, and Timbaland pretty much owns the music scene here. Just...flat out owns it. It's not only artists that want to work with him, it's bands as well. But here's the thing. Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, even freaking OneRepublic all sound. EXACTLY. the same. I DONT want Coldplay to have Timbaland in the background mumbling strange things. But yah. My two cents. And I'd probably love Coldplay even if they DID go with Tim. viva coldplay.

Hey tigermillk. You're being really helpful to all us fans, especially the Vegas are ones. Thanks a bunch, and way to stick with fellow Coldplayers. We'd all do the same for you, if we had the chance. Viva Coldplay.

Coldplay's show is amazing. Hands down, one of the best out there. For me? The best. Try and get something straight on, rather than to the sides. Even if you are facing straight on, but are further back, you'll still get all the fun of the light show, and the big screen (if they have one, like last time). I agree with tiger. It's all about going because you love Coldplay. Don't let where you sit dictate how much fun you have. For my first Coldplay show, I was like, 90 degrees to the stage, like, as far to the side as possible, and I was really high up. Not great seats in the slightest. But I came away with the best concert I have ever been to. And I was once at the FENCE for Kanye. He gave me five. lol. But it didn't compare.

I'm shocked that Coldplay didn't help out their fans for this tour, so far. I actually think it's unbelievable able that there was no Coldplay Fan Club presale.

Xavipheus, man, you've got it. Especially point 8. That's me with my friends. Coldplay MEANS me to all of them. Though, and I'm not sure if this is true everywhere in Canada (probably not in Toronto), but Coldplay gets ZERO radio time here. People here are too interested in listening to the SAME club anthems over and over and over and over again.

Hey Fix You, I am wondering where you got your ticket price information. Apparently, Coldplay are keeping the prices down for this concert. The highest price is SUPPOSED to be 80 bucks. That's what I've read anyways. HOWEVER. I do like, four, google searches a day for tickets in my city, to see whats going on, and there are some sites, like, stubhub.com and coasttocoasttickets.com that are selling tickets, really bad ones that I dont even want, for like, more than 200 dollars. I don't get it. Does anybody? I mean, are these tickets REAL. Because recently, they have put some floor tickets up, I think the best is row 19, and they cost 450 per ticket. Are these tickets real? Why do they cost so much? Why do these sites HAVE these tickets? Are they going to keep getting better and better tickets and none of the fans are going to be able to get the good ones when the time comes? This whole business is very frustrating.

I really this this presale stuff is...dumb.. Best Buy? Pop Tarts? For some reason, I doubt Coldplay has anything to do with this. I absolutely CAN'T believe that there are no emails sent out regarding a Coldplay.com presale yet. That's...like....we are the REAL fans. Not Best Buy RewardZone members. Ive been on that mailing list since it's existed. I think. I'm still hoping this presale gets it's act together.

I was wondering what you disliked about Violet Hill? I personally love it. But perhaps you might think that I am predisposed to like it, and that I would never really ever seriously consider that it was bad. But I have. I was pretty much EXPECTING to dislike it, even as I pressed play on my iPod. But the truth is...its...undeniably....pure Coldplay, heart and soul. Every bit of what makes a song Coldplay is present. The heartfelt lyrics, the strong music and the lasting impression that makes you listen to it over and over and over again everyday. Absolutely the song has ADDITIONAL different aspects, but these different aspects never are used in place of what Coldplay are about, but rather try to ADD something. I personally feel that Viva la Vida is prefect. just. perfect. But I still love Violet Hill, and would love to hear how someone can dislike it. At the end of your post you said "I dont understand why people like it so much". I've just explained why I do, and I think, many people do. It's Coldplay. But New. Shed light on your reasons. :)

I don't think its new. It's Coldplay. Heartfelt, strong, and played with every muscle in their bodies. That's Coldplay. And that's this music.
