After I went "huh??????" at Lory's post I busted out laughing from yours. And I do NOT agree that having no children makes you feel old. I think that was unfair. I don't have kids and feel perfectly happy and "young."

Last night I watched a show with Jamie Oliver, reminded me of the Rove interview with the band, where Jonny pronounces "bananas" like "banonnas"--I spent the rest of the evening saying the word "banonnas" for no reason.

I read it and then ordered and read Viva La Coldplay. Roadie is a very breezy read, you'll get through it quick. Also Matt writes very "English," lots of English slang, I had to concentrate on what he was saying.

There's poetry about Chris' happy trail, we need a song about ACTUAL Buckin. Not this phony Buckin stuff.

Hi Amy!! BTW, that photo of Chris in the sportcoat, with Jonny and Guy in his WTF outfit--what function were they going to? I want to say the Silvia premeire but I bet I'm wrong. Anyone know?

From what they said on Ellen, Jonny was in a corner "high" on something, and it was love at first sight in a very musical way. That's so adorable, really.

This is my all time favorite Coldplay album. I got it because I had liked Parachutes, and my hubby and I took the CD on our one year anniversary trip to San Diego, and played it all the way. I was blown away by Politic, especially since almost all of Parachutes was so very subtle and quiet. I can still listen to AROBTTH 10 years later in amazement at the musicianship--there is a lot going on in every song, you keep hearing new things. I especially love Warniing Sign (so gorgeous, instruments played beautifully) and the title song. It just keeps me in awe with how good it is. Thank you, Coldplay, ten years later.
