Since every album sounds wildly different, I don't think this sound is here to stay. We've now got a catalog of five albums and many, many B sides that all sound different from each other. Like Chris said, they're just doing the music that they want to to. They'll do something different next time.

Got the LAST copy of the CD/T shirt combo they had!!! What a coup!

GOT IT!!!!!! Went to Target after work and after getting vitamins and bananas (girl's gotta eat), I got the LAST CD/T shirt combo! So excited. I did the headphone listen and will have to do the car listen but loving it so far.

I tell anyone who will listen that AROBTTH is one of the greatest albums of all time.

I haven't! I have leave in a half hour to try two Targets. I want the CD and the shirt! Then I will blast it either in the car or at home while I cook. It's been hard waiting this long!

I would have too! I often have two copies of CP albums, one for house, one for car, for example. An hour and a half and I am leaving to go see what I can find!

I calculated my plan of action while walking (listening to CP on IPod): go to bigger Target in my area, if they don't have it, go to smaller Target. How many CP fans could Simi Valley, CA possibly have??

I'm at work, I feel trapped, I checked Target.com for locations, one near work is ten miles away! Why couldn't I have taken a vacation day today!!!

So tired of writers reviewing the band and the fact they are not fans, and not reviewing the album. EW also did this, and spent two paragraphs of a very flimsy review with a story about a woman who beat up someone else who sang Coldplay karaoke. Not a review, people! I wonder what the reviews would be if the reviewers actually liked the band and the music beforehand.

I keep coming back to look at the housewarming party picture! It's just great. I said on the Chris thread that it looked like an engagement photo.

I've gotta watch the videos once I get home. I am in So Cal as well but had to leave for work right --I mean RIGHT--as they were coming on. So frustrating. I would have been furious if I'd stayed home or gone in late and they interrupted the show (although for good news).

I love the song "Don't Stop til you Get Enough!" If I happen to be the one to buy groceries tomorrow (and not hubby) then I will discreetly slip a copy at the checkout!

I'm not the biggest Fix You fan, but it means a lot to a lot of people. I tear up at Gravity (of course, not even on an album, much less a single).

I totally disagree with this list. They harp on each of the lyrics. Even Chris admits he doesn't want you looking into the lyrics too much! They also seem enamored of their early stuff, and yes, well, bands move on. And since when are they a singles band? Really a nasty article at its heart.

Fun Interview. Two people I think are supertalented, face to face. I had to watch online this morning, and my husband was yammering on (he has this habit of talking to me during Coldplay TV appearances) so I missed the "you stole Gwyneth" mention. Very funny.

When you rush home on Tuesday to FINALLY hear the KROQ Breakfast with Coldplay (couldn't go, couldn't hear it at work), find out the internet was out, go turn on the TV and find out they are showing Glastonbury again, so you sit down and watch that to be placated for awhile, then keep running up and down the stairs of your house to keep checking if the internet is back up!

Noel was on KROQ a few months ago and I always knew he was the less douchy Gallagher brother, but I turned out to really like him! And his new song "If I had a Gun" sounds good too. Like him even more now.
