  1. ahhhhh!! MUST KNOW what happened tonight!! ((but it's going to ruin the surprise for tomorrow :embarassed:))
  2. my guess....as early as 11PM-ish for those who are volunteering w/ Oxfam....probably near till midnight.
  3. hmmm if you still really want to go.... -right now there's still tickets available on Ticketmaster (and have at it) -public transportation to The Forum -or head to The Forum really early, and see what tickets are available sans scalping. :\ sorry, i think that's all the ideas i could come up within reason.
  4. I is bored. I'll do this....(does anybody read these? LoL :dozey:) 1. First related Coldplay memory? Saw the music video for "Yellow" and though "...what in heck's name is this?!" 2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where? February 6, 2006 @ Anaheim, CA BEST TUESDAY NIGHT EVER!! 3.a Favorite Coldplay album? A Rush of Blood to the Head <3 b. Favorite Coldplay song? The Scientist....BUT Strawberry Swing is definitely becoming a contender for the top favorite! c. Favorite Coldplay video? The Scientist 4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection? at this time it's the concert ticket stub from when I saw them @ Anaheim in '06 and the blue Twisted Logic tour shirt w/ dates on the back (and that rainbow-strip w/ pics of the boys on the front) :) 5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.) oh god...i nearly killed myself by listening to KROQ 24/7 in hopes to call in and get tickets (my phone bill was very amusing to read at the end of the month!). plus i went off signing up for every other contest that had to do with Coldplay.
  5. the NY Times really has hit the low-points over the years. this tops the cake, along with the ever-growing popularity of Page Six. now that's embarassing. :shame:
  6. i think at this point the best option for any hangout is just arriving at the venue early and line up at the door, and have a good ol' chat or something.
  7. oh my gosh, i'm really sorry for what happened... any way you could refund the ticket or something (did you buy that ticket insurance during the sale)?
  8. WOOOHOO less than 24 hours to go!! :D:D:D gah, i can't believe i'm going to volunteer for Oxfam at the gig! :daisy: Coldplayers that are going tomorrow night, hope to see you at the gig and stop by the booth! :) ((oh man, i hope it's still possible to sneak a camera into the gig...))
  9. it was drawn already. i don't think it was anyone from here... ...and that lucky girl BETTER be appreciative to have won. (i'm not bitter, i swear :D)
  10. ohmigaaahh! less than 20 hours to go! DETAILS PLZ after the concert! (...but then i want it to be a surprise myself....must resist going on here tomorrow night!!) :laugh3:
  11. "Politik," "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face," "Amsterdam" (according to what I saw on the Live 2003 dvd), and from the bootlegs so far "Lost!" and "Lovers in Japan" sounds a LOT better live than on album.
  12. Woo-hoo! Really excited for this Tuesday, after I got the additional volunteer info! :D
  13. ^You're welcome :smug2: From what I've been hearing, Inglewood isn't really a good area. I guess the best areas to hang out instead are at Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach, and those are about 10-ish miles away. *sigh* LA sucks.
  14. red....or blue... ...or rainbow sherbert.
  15. ^probably, although its still possible to sneak in cameras....but don't take my word for it :P OMG 4 more days!
  16. This song would fit pretty well into the setlist methinks (some of the newer songs also revolve around similar subject and ideas). Gah! Must not get hopes up, but....would this addition be great or what? :smug2:
  17. Lovers in Japan didn't like it at first, but after watching a bunch of bootleg clips of that song performed live....I LOVE it now :)
  18. hide it in your pants (....unless there's metal detectors....) there's already a thread about ideas to sneak cameras into the concert. LoL, try browsing through there for some options.
  19. This will be my first time volunteering! I'm still kind of trying to get over being surprised about being selected! :laugh3: Thank you so much Oxfam! I hope that this experience will be an amazing one to remember! <3
  20. ^Shearwater and Jon Hopkins Oh man, so excited!! I sent in my confirmation for volunteering with Oxfam!! :) See you all there! Now with that said, the seat I was initially going to sit at is now up for offer. PLEASE REPLY ASAP IF YOU'RE INTERESTED!
  21. *SQUEEE* 6 MORE DAYS!! :D i heart chrismartin: i really hope you'll get to go. best of luck <3
  22. ohhhhhhhhhhhhh that's a keeper.
  23. This is such a terrible stereotyping article....yet it's so hilarious at the same time  My favorite bits: White people who list Coldplay as their favorite band are what we will call “basic” level white. Chances are that they discovered the band a few years ago and have attended at least one concert. Their knowledge of music is very limited, and there is a 100 percent chance that they also like U2. If you need to befriend one of these people, just tell them that X&Y helped you get through a difficult breakup. They will understand. ----And the sad part is that, through my own witnessing, this claim is accurate. Due to its big, sweeping sound, Coldplay’s music is perfect for montages about relationships in television and film. Because of this, many white people have listened to a Coldplay song on their iPod while looking out the window of an airplane or car, imagining that they are acting out a scene from a movie about their life. ----ROFL, I am 110% GUILTY of committing this act. :laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3: Knowing how to use Coldplay to your advantage will be one of your main assets as you climb the white social ladder. ----LMAO such a sales tagline claim, but sounds convincing to me at this point. :dozey:
  24. ^agh, where's purple? :stunned:
